is neet required for admission. If yes then in which rank or marks it allows . how the admission process applicable

Prachi Kumari 31st May, 2025

Hello,

NEET is required for admission to most medical and dental courses in India, like MBBS and BDS.

Rank or marks required:
The rank or marks needed depend on the college and category (General, SC, ST, OBC). Usually, a higher rank (which means better marks) gives a better chance for top colleges. For government colleges, you generally need a good rank, while private colleges may have lower cut-offs.

Admission process:

  1. You must qualify NEET.

  2. Apply for counselling through the official counselling website (like MCC for All India Quota or state counselling for state quota).

  3. Based on your rank and preferences, you get seat allotment.

  4. After seat allotment, you must complete document verification and pay fees to confirm your seat.

Hope it helps !

Is addmission for 2025-2026 open now?? How will i apply and is it in online or offline? Is smatee exam marks based or not and is it necessary?

Prachi Kumari 31st May, 2025

Hello,

The admission for 2025-2026 at Srishti Manipal Institute is open now. You can apply online through their official admission portal.

The SMEAT exam is necessary for admission. It has two parts:

  1. A general ability test for analytical and reasoning skills. Some candidates with good UCEED or SAT scores may be exempt from this.

  2. A creative test based on a theme, which is mandatory for all.

Both tests are done offline at exam centres in cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.

You can choose your exam centre while applying.

Hope it helps !

I applied for m.tech program in coimbatore, i rejected for it, i didnt get any mail regarding the next campus interview now can i reapply for amrita coimbatore in the same specialization

sadafreen356 28th May, 2025

To determine if you can reapply for the M.Tech program at Amrita School of Engineering Coimbatore in the same specialization, let's break down the key points:

- Eligibility Criteria: You need to have a minimum of 60% in your B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc in the relevant discipline, and a valid GATE score can offer direct admission.

- Application Process: You can apply through the Amrita online admission portal, filling out the application form and paying the non-refundable application fee.¹ ²

Considering you were rejected previously and didn't receive a mail regarding the next campus interview, here are possible steps:

- Check Eligibility: Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria, especially if you've improved your academic scores or obtained a valid GATE score.

- Contact the University: Reach out to the university's admission office to inquire about your previous application status and potential reasons for rejection.

- Reapplication Policy: Confirm if there's a restriction on reapplying for the same specialization within a certain timeframe.

If you're eligible and allowed to reapply:

- Update Your Application: Ensure your new application reflects any improvements in your academic profile, new test scores, or additional experiences.

- Prepare for Potential Interview: Even if you have a valid GATE score, be prepared for an interview if required.

Before reapplying, it's crucial to understand the admission committee's perspective on your previous application. This will help you strengthen your new application.

Good luck!!
