Yes you are. There is no age bar for IIT JAM Exam. Any student who has completed B.Sc. degree can apply for the exam. This gives an opportunity to droppers and candidates who have surpassed the upper age limit for most of the exams. You should have Any one of Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics for two years/four semesters , and any one of the other four subjects for at least one year/two semesters.

No , students without Maths in 12th are not eligible for IIT JAM for MSc chemistry.
This is because,
Maths in 12th is compulsory for MSC chemistry for IIT JAM
As,
IIT JAM eligibility criteria for MSc Chemistry says that to be eligible:-
* you must have chemistry in all the three years of you are graduation
*you must have studied math in your 10+2
* minimum percentage requirement:-
-) General/obc :- if you belong to General or OBC category then you must have got at least 50% in your graduation or at least 5 CGPA out of 10 to be eligible
-)SC/ST/PWD :- if you belong to Sc or ST or PWD category then you must have got at least 55% in your graduation or at least 5.5 CGPA out of 10 to be eligible
So, In case, if you haven't studied mathematics in you 10 + 2 then I am extremely sorry to inform you dear but you won't be eligible for IIT JAM for MSC chemistry
