To get admission in Jamia Hamdard University, make sure you must have completed 12th from CBSE board  with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology or any other entrance examination validated by the institution or must have attended JEE. No central counselling is required for seats reserved for Muslims. Admission will be based on the score secured by the candidates secured in JEE for open seats. And for seats reserved for Muslims, admission will be based on the merit list of the institute on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in JEE. For that, you have to apply for the prescribed application form of the institute.

Pharm  /  B  .  Pharm  (Unani) examination or any other examination recognised by  Jamia Hamdard  or an institution recognised by  Jamia Hamdard  and AICTE, securing at least 50% marks in the aggregation of theory papers and practicals. Qualified GPAT (with valid score card) Appeared in the  Entrance  Test conducted by  Jamia Hamdard.

More Than 50%  aggregate marks is required in B.sc. or equivalent examination of a recognized university.And should have botany or plant science as one of the subject.

for PG courses, it will be based on the merit in the qualifying examination. Qualifying exam will mean average of three years marks of B.Sc. If  the final year exam result is not out, the average of last two years marks will be counted for provisional selection of candidates.

for Integrated MSc , there is 60 seats. No details is provided for seat matrix distribution for different streams. For admission , you have to appear University entrance test.

entrance exam pattern and syllabus is not available. You will get it when you register for the exam. Institute may mail you all the information along with syllabus. You will get prescribed book from it. You can prepare from there as 20-30% of questions are asked directly from the prescribed books.

As per the latest notification issued by Jamia Hamdard University regarding entrance exams. all entrance exams have been cancelled and admission which are to be through entrance exams will now be conducted on merit basis in qualifying examination. This initiative has been taken by the authorities in the wake of COVID-19 and moreover on-site has also been cancelled for this year, only online counselling would be preferred.

The admission to bachelor in physiotherapy course is given on the basis of merit through NEET 2020, among the candidates, who apply for admission to BPT Degree Course through online Jamia Hamdard Application Form. Non NEET candidates may also apply. Although NEET candidates will be preferred, non-NEET applicants may be considered on the basis of merit of first 5 subjects in qualifying examination.

As the entrance for jamia hamdard BPT course is NEET exam. The center of entrance will be those of NEET exam.

However due to the pendamic covid -19  jamia hamdard university changed the criteria of admission . As according to the notifications of jamia hamdard university released on 19 july 2020

• It is also decided that the admission to selected UG courses will NOT be made on the basis of national level examinations like NEET, JEE and CLAT etc. Instead, admission to various UG programs will be entirely based on the merit in the qualifying examinations as per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the Prospectus of Jamia Hamdard for the year 2020.
• The counseling for admission will also be taken online.
