Jamia Milia Islamia
Hello Aarish,
Jamia Milia Islamia is a prestigious college and so the cut-offs go high. From the trends of last 3 years, CSE has closed within the first 5 rounds of counselling sometimes even earlier with a rank of approx 25000-30000 for Muslim category. For scoring this much rank your percentile in JEE Mains should be >96% for a safer score and good probability.
Hope it helps!!
Hi,
Following is the Closing rank for various Branch in Round 7 of JMI Councelling.
Civil Engineering - 64040
Computer Engineering-- 36923
Electrical Engineering-- 54789

After looking at these cutoff, it is difficult for you to get seat in Jamia Milia Islamia. However, you could get some seats in spot rounds if seat remains and cutoff remains lower than previous years.
In order to know what other colleges you could get based on JEE Mains marks, you should use this tool: JEE Mains 2021 College Predictor
Thanks!!!!
Hello there
Hope you're doing well see in any university the cutoff depends upon the number of candidates apply in that University and the highest number of of marks a candidate got it varies with category and department cutoff there is nothing specific about the cutoff it will be going low or high doesn't matter which college is it.
Also you must be doing that Jamia Millia Islamia is a minority Institution and had reservation for the Muslim community students so basically will find apple of muslim students there at sometimes danger different perspective in the colleges compared to other community students.
Also for engineering and other technical professional degrees people prefer IIT NIT IIIT AKTU this type of Institutions rather than Institution of Jamia Millia Islamia so these are the reasons according to me. May be some other reasons to that I am unaware but these could be the major.
Hope it helps!
Thank you!
If you are general category student then at 91 percentile you will get a rank about 90k so at this high rank it is not possible to get jamia university as its cutoff is about 65k so it is very tough to get this college even in the spot rounds as well but you can predict other colleges you might get using this link

Hi there!
Hope your are doing fine.
After the entrance, the cut off plays a important role.
Cut off marks fluctuate every year due to the difficulty level of paper changes, so no one can give you exact picture of that.
But if your score are more than 50% than definitely you have high chances of admission.
I would suggest you to try to get as high marks as you can.
Don't take so much stress though, the paper will not be so difficult.
Have a command on your subjects. Prepare well.
Study hard.
All the best!!!
