In order to prepare for M.Sc Biotechnology entrance exams of JMI and AMU, you must prepare some important topics from the syllabus of B.Sc Biotechnology. These include Introductory Biological Chemistry, Animal and Plant Physiology, Recombinant DNA Technology, DNA Typing, Proteomics and Beyond, Biodiversity and Taxonomy, Microbiology and Macromolecule, Biostatistics.

You can also expect some questions from 10+2 level. The subjects which are important in M.Sc Biotechnology entrance exams are Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology, Biotechnology and general knowledge. It cannot be said whether you can get seat in Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi or not with rank below 30,000 because cut-offs changes from year to year and depends on many factors like

Seat matrix

Number of students appeared in the exam

Difficulty level of the examination

Caste category of the students

Previous year's cut-offs, etc.

But based on previous year's cut-offs it can be predicted that you have decent chances of getting seat in Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi at least in second cut-off list in any of the branches, if not possible in first cut-off list. There won't be a problem with your age for admission.

There is no upper age limit to get admission to B.Tech in Jamia Milia Islamia. The candidate applying for admission to B.Tech in JMI must not be less than 17 years old as on October 1, 2022.

There is no upper age limit to appear for JEE Main 2022 as well. So you can appear for JEE Main provided you must have passed or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2022 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board.

You can appear for JEE Main for three consecutive years from the year of passing in the qualifying examination. For Getting admission in Jamia Milli Islamia (JMI) , Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) you have to follow the following procedure.

Talking about Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) - It conduct there own Entrance Exam for providing admission in BA LLB . Basically you have to appear in the Entrance exam , JMI Entrance Test . After clearing the Entrance Exam you will be Eligible for getting admission in Jamia Millia Islamia.

Eligibility criteria :- Candidate must have qualified the Intermediate or Equivalent examination from any recognized Board with minimum score of 50% aggregate.

For getting admission Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) :- Candidate must have to  clear the Entrance Exam conducted by Aligarh Muslim University ( AMU BA LLB).

Application form release in the month of April on wards.

Educational Qualifications for the course : - Candidate must have completes 12th standard with at least 50% marks.

There is no descriptive syllabus for the JMI entrance for the course of BA English. In the official notification, its mentioned that there will be two parts Group-A & Group-B. Group-A will contain 40 MCQ type,1 marks question on Authors, Books , Literary scene in India & Abroad. In Group-B, there will be Unseen Passage comprehension of 20 marks, Grammar & Vocabulary of 10 marks & Essay of 30 marks. So group B will contain 60 marks in total.
