I have uploaded a declaration form for ews in jee advanced as my ews was made before 1 april and it will take time for me to renew it. But I made a mistake that in the declaration form I did not stick the passport size photo. Will it affect my category? And will I be able to give jee advanced 2022?

Sohamsengupta8 9th Aug, 2022
Hello Student
Before appearing in Either jee mains or JEE advanced you have to correct the mistake you have done in the form fill up of EWS category category.St the time of correction spell of Jee mains you have to correct the mistakes for not pasting your passport size photograph.You have to place the photograph in proper column. Then you will not be in a problem of your candidature,appearing in the exam,or getting your result. .
Hope this helps.

Should I take 20 mocks for Jee or should I revise a lot for jee advanced 2022?? I just want 6k-7k rank in the examination.

piyush263001 9th Aug, 2022

Hello,

In these last few days it is very important you give as many mock tests as possible , because it wil help you check the level of your preparation.

Also when you will give mock test you can easily get to know the topics you are not that good with and also the topics and concepts you forgot.

It is very important that you not only give mock tests but also analyze each and every mock test, so that you don't repeat the same mistake in your examination.

In these last few days before your JEE Advanced Examination, you can give a mock each day and in the remaining time you can analyse your mock and revise the concepts.

I hope you find the answer helpful.

Thank you.

Sir/Madam, i didnt upload 12th equivalent/marksheet in jee advanced 2022. will there be any problem? Iam tensed a lot...can i get application form correction.. please let me know, i am tensed 🙏🙏🙏

Anurag Khanna 10th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Don't worry if you have passed class 12th in 2022, because for candidates passing 12th or equivalent in 2022, there is no need to upload the class 12th certificates at the time of JEE-Advance 2022 registration but if you had passed class 12th earlier than you cannot upload it now because there is no correction window for JEE-advance application.

Dates for JEE-Advance 2022 are out now and it will be conducted on August 28th, 2022 by IIT Bombay. For JEE-Advance 2022 the registration process has began from August 08, 2022(10:00 IST) and will continues till August 11, 2022(17:00 IST).

"candidates who appeared in class 12th (or equivalent) examination in 2020 for the first time are also eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2022 PROVIDED they satisfy the following two criteria simultaneously:

***** The candidate should have appeared ONLY ONCE for JEE (Advanced), either in the year 2020 or 2021; OR, have NOT appeared in any paper in both JEE (Advanced) 2020 and JEE (Advanced) 2021.

***** These candidate(s) should appear/should have appeared in JEE (Main) 2022 and meet the cut-off score of the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) for qualifying for JEE (Advanced) 2022 in their respective category."

Anurag Khanna 11th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

If it did not ask you to upload your class 12th marksheet then you must have passed your class 12th in 2022 and as per the rules of JEE-Advance 2022 there is no need to upload the marksheet by 2022 passing students.

Dates for JEE-Advance 2022 are out now and it will be conducted on August 28th, 2022 by IIT Bombay. For JEE-Advance 2022 the registration process has began from August 08, 2022(10:00 IST) and will continues till August 11, 2022(17:00 IST).

what is the minimum rank required to get cse branch in any iit for pwd general category student in jee advanced 2022 exam?

Roshni 13th Aug, 2022

Hi,

Since cutoff varies with each year, it is slightly difficult to predict the exact rank.

But if we look at previous year cutoff trend, for a GEN PWD to get into a decent IIT your rank needs to be around 100. For that, scoring 50-60 marks in Advanced would suffice.

Good luck.

I have 138.51 score in JEE MAINS 2022 Session 1 out of 300 and i belong to SC category, So am i eligible to give JEE advanced 2022?

jhasuyash006 1st Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Congratulations for your result. In order to predict this first we need to calculate the exact rank. It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank as the trends changes every year because it depends on many factors like number of students appeared, shift, toughness, etc.

But we can predict your result based on the previous trends. With 138.51 score your percentile will be around 96.79 - 98.19. Considering the worst case. With 96.79 percentile, your CRL-AIR will be around 32838 - 36915 and your SC rank will be around 1100. You can verify your rank by using our rank predictor tool which is given below:

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

In order to get a seat in NITs, you need to score at least 9k - 10k SC rank, or 85 percentile as per past year trends.

Thus, with 96.79 percentile, you have a bright chance of getting top branches in NIT Trichy.

If you want to check the exact college, you can go through our college predictor link which is given below:

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B

Thank you and all the best for your future.

Am I elegible for JEE ADVANCED 2022 with 87.5764669 percentile in jee mains 2022 session 1.

Anurag Khanna 31st Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See till now the official qualifying cut-offs have not been released and the qualifying cut-off percentiles are released along with final result of JEE-Main 2022 which will be released after both the sessions i.e. most probably in August '22.

But o n such percentile, if you are a General candidate then you have some chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.

You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff
