my friend got 76.88 percentile in jee mains 2022 can he qualify to write jee advanced exam

sharshit2306 16th Jul, 2022

Hey,

As  per the  previous year cut off , it may be possible that you may not be eligible for the jee advance as the cut off for the CRL  is around 90 percentile .  If you fall in OBC, SC and ST category quota then it may be possible that you are eligible for the JEE advance. As the previous year cut off for the OBC is around 74 , for the SC is around 54 and for ST ,it is of around 44. But if you belong in an open category you should have to svore more than 90 percentile in order to get eligible for the JEE Advance 2022.

Dear Sir i got 89 percentail in section-1 of jee mains 2022, what is expected minimum percetaile for applying for nit admissions and it is mandatory for attending jee advanced exam for applying nit colleges admission

Sakshi 23rd Jul, 2022

Hey Aspirant,

As you got 89 percentile in section-1 of JEE Mains 2022. To get admission in top NITs with most considered branches candidates needs to have minimum 94 percentile in JEE mains. No, it is not mandatory for attending JEE advanced exam for applying NIT colleges admission. You only have to give JEE mains exam and score a good percentile in it to get a good NIT. please somebody tell me that if Im a plus 2 dropout of year 2 (2021) then will i be able to give jee advanced exam in the year 2023...??

Neamah Fathima M R 11th Jul, 2022

JEE is an entrance exam conducted for admission to various engineering courses in India. There is JEE advanced and JEE mains exam. You have to qualify JEE mains exam in order to write JEE advanced. JEE mains will be having 90 questions out of which 75 should be answered. Each questions carry 4 marks each. JEE advanced does not have a fuxed mark distribution. To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2022, candidates must qualify JEE Main 2022 (Paper 1) and rank among the top 2,50,000 (including all categories) candidates .

Candidates who have completed there 10 + 2 or equivalent from a recognised board are eligible to apply for JEE mains exam. It is possible to write JEE mains for 3 consecutive years. But j e advance can be only written for two consecutive years. If you completed your 12th, you can write JEE mains exam of 2021 2022 and 2023. Since you are a drop out of year 2021, and if you have completed your 12th in 2022, you can write JEE mains for 2022,2023,and 2024. In that case you can write JEE advanced of 2022 and 2023.

You can't write these exams if you haven't completed your 12th.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 8th Aug, 2022

Hi

Making  prediction is difficult as  cutoff  depends upon various factors like :-

-----------) number of students

-----------) number of available seats,

-----------)  examination difficulty level etc

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then

>>>>>>>>> With your  64.30 percentile/ nta score in jee main

You have chances in following colleges  which are listed below :-

Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai

Sinhgad College of Engineering, Vadgaon (BK), Pune

Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, Kandivali, Mumba

Shree Ramchandra College of Engineering, Lonikand,Pune

And more

As per 2021  cut off available at:-

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vIXXECait_7XRPf1MtSqwnynwgoeNuZ5/view?usp=drivesdk

Above prediction has been made  considering  past year cut off data but  closing rank for colleges varies every year depending upon many factors like jee main question paper difficulty, number of students writing the exam etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

I failed in 12th board in 2022 and again giving board exam in 2023 and also jee mains and got 80 percent in board and i am in 2lac jee mains student , can i give jee advanced exam in 2023?

Aakriti Jaiswal 14th Jun, 2022

Hello aspirant,

If you are targeting to score 80% in boards next year, just go for it. If you prepare well for the boards and jee mains you will be definitely eligible for the jee advance. By scoring above 75% in boards you can also target the best NITs and IIITs of India but your hardest preparations will led you give the jee advance exams too.

Prepare for the boards and jee together with double hardwork.

Good luck:)

vmc Safdarjung or narayana kalu sarai ? which is best for jee advanced exam?

thakurvishesh1 8th Jul, 2022

Vidyamandir classes of Safdarjung has a very good history and it is the main branch of VMC, thus all the founding faculty and members teach there and they are very good. Moreover, the selection rate of VMC (Safdarjung) is quite high in Delhi and the teachers pay very good attention on students.

So, I would suggest you to go with VMC. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

Ayush Maurya 14th Mar, 2022

Hello there

See, firstly you have to complete your registration process and you have to do your registration for this exam from the official website of NTA. After completing your registration process you will be getting an acknowledgement slip which you have to save into your device.

Now coming to your doubt, before the examination you will be receiving your admit card and that admit card will be available on your profile which you have used for the registration. Now on to that admit card all the details will be mentioned about the centre examination that where you have to go to give your examination and most probably it will be from your first priority which you have selected during your registration process. It can be a school or any online cyber or any institute.

I hope it helps you!

Good luck!

KYA DOUBLE DROPPER JEE ADVANCED EXAM DE SAKTA HAI? AGAR USNE EK BAR BHI JEE ADVANCED NAHI DIYA? SC CATEGORY STUDENT

Sree Student Expert 10th Mar, 2022

Hello student,

**To be eligible for JEE Advanced exam you need to clear JEE Mains entrance exam.

**Candidates who have completed 10+2 or equivalent exam in science stream from a recognised Board or College are eligible for JEE Entrance exams.

**JEE Mains can be attempted three times in 3 consecutive years from the year of passing 12th standard and JEE Advanced 2 times in two consecutive years i.e in the year you have passed 12th examination and in next upcoming year you can give JEE Advanced entrance exam.

**So, based on the eligibility criteria you won't be eligible if you are double dropper for JEE Advanced but you will be eligible for JEE Mains exam.

*Note: For JEE Advanced 2022 Candidates who have passed 12 th standard in 2021 and 2022 along with 2020 passed out students are eligible for JEE Advanced 2022 by considering COVID-19 Pandemic.
