hlo sir I am st category my jee main 2020 percentile is 63.4 I am outside delhi candidate can I get admission in dtu collage... and which branch

Ritik goyal 2nd Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Your percentile is very low and you are also from outside the Delhi region so according to the previous year trend and based on previous year college opening and closing rank data it is very very difficult to get seat in DTU. But at this percentile you can go for state counselling or gfti's here you can get seat.

To predict the college based on your percentile you can go through the given link:-

Best of Luck!!

My CRL is 24247 and EWS rank is 3864 in JEE main 2020 (H.S. is M.P.) and want to take CSE,ECE or IT.Which NIT or IIIT would be best.

akashkumarpati.2000 2nd Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

We all know that withoutofficially released JEE MAIN cut-off marks of this year for all top instituions in India by NTA (National Testing Agency) , we can't make any accurate statement about the precise cut-off marks of any NIT, IIIT or GFTI. So we have to go for the previous year's cut-off details in this regard.

Hence as per our assumption and previous year's details I would like to inform you that  this since you're a reserved (EWS) candidate, with this performance in JEE MAIN 2020 you've definite probability to get admission in your desirable strams (i.e. CSE, ECE , IT) of several top and renowned NITs like NIT Agartala, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Durgapur, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Manipur, NIT Mizoram, NIT Andhra Pradesh etc ,  esteemed IIITs like IIIT Kottayam, IIIT Andhra Pradesh, IIIT Lucknow, IIIT Nashik etc and eminent GFTIs like Assam University, Silchar, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar etc through 15% AIQ.

Here I also want to recommend you to go through the following articles to get a detailed-oriented description in this context:

I have got 79.18%ile in JEE main 2020. Can I get admission in BIT Sindri?? I am from gen+ews category.

Harsh Chandravanshi 2nd Oct, 2020

Hi Aspirant!

Sorry to say but BIT SINDRI is taking admission through JEE MAINs just from the last year before that there is another exam called JECEB through which they took admission.Hence there is not much data with which we can predict your chances of getting into BIT Sindri through JEE Main so you better wait for the process to happen and also try for other options.

my jee main 2020 crl rank is 48735 and obc catogary rank is 12922 . am I eligible for MNIT(jaipur). ? if yes then in which Branch? PLEASE EXPLAIN....

Hi aspirant,

You have obtained a CRL rank of 48,735 and your corresponding OBC category rank is 12,922. With such rank ut is very difficult for you to get admission in MNIT Jaipur in any branch of engineering. The last year seventh round maximum closing rank of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering was 11486 and yours is 12,922. So you are close to this but still couldn't get it according to previous year cutoff. Bu as we know the cutoff changes every year and so let us hope for the best.

However, you can use the JEE Main college predictor tool to predict your other college and branch options based on this rank by clicking on the following link: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hope it helps you.

I got 90.26 percentile in jee main 2020,Am I qualified for jee advance?

Anurag Khanna 22nd Aug, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

As cut-offs for this year has not released yet so it is little bit difficult to guide you accurately but however based on previous year's cut-off you can get an idea about qualifying percentile for JEE-Advance.

So, cut-off percentile for last year for General category was 89.755, for OBC-NCL was 74.316, for Gen-EWS was 78.218, for SC was 54.011, for ST was 44.334 and for PwD it was 0.1138.

So based on previous year's data you have chances to qualify for JEE-Advance but as cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors so it is little bit hard to predict at present.

For more details refer to the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

If I get more than 200 marks in jee main 2020 September what would be my rank?

NILUTPOL Student Expert 22nd Aug, 2020
Hello,
If you score above 200+ in JEE Mains, then your rank would be below 5500 in the common rank list. With this rank you can get top NITs and IIITs and GFTIs for core branches such as CSE, ECE and Mechanical engineering.
If you are from reservation category, the. Your chances of getting a seat in top NITs and IIITs will be even more.

You only get to know your percentile marks in JEE Mains, so with that percentile you can calculate your rank using the JEE Mains rank predictor. Here's the link for that. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor&ved=2ahUKEwiS-Z7Kz67rAhX8xTgGHVbmANAQFjADegQIAhAB&usg=AOvVaw2QNQ0E4U1hgytKWWo9jfZm

I got 239000 rank in jee main 2020. I belong to SC category. can I get seat in any IIIT?

ARYAN SAGAR 1st Oct, 2020
Dear student,

As you have secured 239000 rank in JEE mains from SC category then there is no chance that you can get any IIIT or NIT.

Because the competitions are now very much increased and even if you are a SC category student you have to score a good rank to get IIIT or NIT.
And for that you must secure under 3000 rank from Sc category.
But still you can sit in josaa counselling and try your luck, but you cannot get any seat in any iiit.
So there is no chance to get a seat in iiit with 239000 sc category rank.

Better you should try for some other state colleges or some other private institutions like Kalinga Institute of Industrial technology or CV Raman Global University because many low rankers can easily get admission in these two private colleges.

Esita Sau 1st Oct, 2020
Hello there,
With your rank you'll not get IT at BPIT DELHI.
But in the round 3 counselling you'll get ECE.
As per previous records, you have a chance of getting ECE at BPIT DELHI in the 3ef round counselling.
To know more about the college go through the link.
https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/bhagwan-parshuram-institute-of-technology-delhi

And same goes for gtbit delhi
You have a chance of getting ECE there as well in the 3rd round counselling.
But getting IT is very difficult.
Go through the link.
