I got 303252 rank in jee main 2020 and sc rank 19213 . I want to do btech . I got 3287 rank in upsee . can I get good college
First of all you must mention your category that from which category you have secured 3287 rank in UPSEE exam.
Assuming that you have secured 3287 overall general merit rank in UPSEE exam then you have did very well in your UPSEE exam and you can get many good government Engineering colleges under UPTU. As per seeing last year cutoff Trends, then with this much rank you can get IET Lucknow, KNIT Sultanpur, BIET Jhansi, rajkiya Engineering College, UIET Kanpur and some other good colleges too.
Now as you have secured 303252 CRL rank in JEE mains then it is quite impossible for you to get any NIT or any IIIT or gftis. If you are from UP then definitely you can try in HBTU Kanpur because there is a chance that still round 4 counselling you can get plastic Technology branch as per your category on the basis of your CRL rank.

Happy Hustling!
As the jee main 2020 exam pattern has changed,+4marks for correct and -1 for incorrect and total 300marks.how much can i score if study ncert+HC Verma fir physics?? ncert+OP Tandon for chemistry?? ncert+cengage for maths??. i am writing jee mains in 2022.
As the competition are increasing day by day and the question level is also getting upgraded, then you have to be practice with some upgraded books.
Now, if you are preparing from the books that you have mentioned in your query then only your maths and inorganic chemistry will go good and you will not be able to score above 90 percentile.
No doubt you can get good concepts and basics from HC VERMA or ncert, but still you have to practice wide variety of mcqs and numerical answer your questions.
So, for physics if you are studying hc verma and ncert, then for jee mains according to me, it will not be upto the mark.
For physics you must practice and read theories fron cengage books. Solve each and every concept application exercise and example alongwith mcqs to get well equipped for jee Mains physics.
Now for chemistry, you must read inorganic chemistry from ncert. Because each and every line is important for it. But never touch OP TANDON and P BAHADUR books.
For getting expertise prepration of jee mains chemistry, solve questions from NARENDRA AWASTHI (for physical chemistry) and MS CHOUHAN (for organic chemistry). Practice all level 1 questions from these two books for getting well equipped in jee Mains chemistry.
For maths you have chosed well. Use cengage books for practice and theories. You will score a good rank and percentile and pass with flying colours in jee mains.
I(female) got 2605 obc rank in jee main 2020. In 1st mock sheet of josaa counseling it showed rourkela nit CSE(3rd choice) in 2nd mock sheet it showed allahabad nit CSE (6th choice). so can u predict my seat in 1st round of josaa counseling?
First of all congratulations on securing 2605 OBC category rank in JEE mains 2020 as you have secured a very good rank then you can definitely get some of the good and top nits.
And if you are getting NIT Rourkela's computer science engineering branch in mock seat allotment then congratulations you can definitely get that as per seeing last year cutoff closing ranks.
In nit rourkela, The last year cutoff closing rank for the computer science engineering branch for female OBC category was 2902.
Also you can get cse in mnnit allahabad as last year the cutoff closing rank in nit Allahabad was 3630.
So definitely you have high chances to get this branch in your josaa round 1 counselling. Also note that this mock seat allotment is not 100% correct.
But still as per seeing last year cutoff closing ranks for these nits and the mock seat allotment results, you can definitely get CSE branch in NIT Rourkela or MNNIT Allahabad in your josaa first round counselling.
Apart from these two good NITs, you can also get many good nits.

if Im getting 583 rank in jee main 2020 in open Pwd category then there any chance to cse or ece in nit nagpur or surat in CSAB round-2
Hello Aspirant,
According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get either of the NITs you have mentioned with neither CSE or ECE as per previous year's cut-offs even in Round 2 counselling of CSAB but yes I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.
Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

Good Luck!!

Thank you.
I have got 75.809765 percentile in jee main 2020 I am from obc then I am eligible for any nit
With 75 percentile, there is no chance to get into top and old NITs. Furthermore getting into new NITs and super new NITs prospect is also kinda dull. However, you may opt for a good stste government college with good stream to boost your career.
This link will help you in giving you a rough estimate in finding a good engineering college based on your rank:- https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
In my opinion, you may land on some North East NIT ith an odd branch with detrimental placement projects. It would rather be better to chhose a good state government college with good stream of your interest which has brighter placement scenario.
I got JEE MAIN 2020 rank GENERAL : 25,000 Gen EWS : 4,000 HOME STATE : ANDHRA PRADESH I want to join CSE/ECE in best colleges according to my rank.Could you please suggest me which college is best to me with that rank???
Analysing the previous year data, you have fair chances of getting into IIITs and NITs. You may get a seat in some lower NITs and IIITs. Don't worry, you can still get many good private colleges with this percentile.
You can check the cut-off ranks of all the NITs from the link given below:

You can check the cut-off rank of all the IIITs from the link given below:

Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.

Dear Aspirant,
It's obvious that without officially released cut-off details by NTA (National Testing Agency) we can't make any accurate cut-off information regarding any kind of instituions.
Still after analysing the previous year's data minutely I can assure you that despite being reserved (OBC) category canditate you don't have any probability to get admitted in any kind of NITs or IIITs through 15% AIQ as well as even 85% State quota (except NIT Srinagar and NIT Sikkim: there's a little hope to get admitted in these two instituions through only 85% state quota, i.e. if you belong to Jammu Kashmir and Sikkim then only you can get admission in these colleges otherwise not). Here I'm giving you the cut-off details of 2019 of these two instituions:
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-sikkim/amp
https://dqxeclau.top/university/national-institute-of-technology-srinagar/amp
However don't need to be disappointed in this regard. You've enough possibilities to get several Government and private Engineering colleges in your residential state through 85% Home State quota. Hope that you've applied for State Level Counselling procedure which has already started. Actually you haven't mentioned your state in this question, so I can't provide you the state colleges perfectly suitable as per your rank and category. That's why I would like to recommend you to use our College predictor tool:
