please can anyone answer me sir, i got 45.5 percentile in JEE main 2022, in st category any chance to get NIT colleges please explain

Ishan Katoch 11th Jul, 2022

Hi Aspirant.

I see that you got a percentile of 45.5 in JEE Main 2022, and you belong to the ST category . Since the cutoffs have not been released yet, it is difficult to predict whether you have qualified for JEE Advanced or not. With the rank of 850201 in open category, you have very slight chances of getting into an NIT . These are the colleges you may apply for:

  1. Panjab University, Chandigarh.
  2. JD College of Engineering and Management.
  3. Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering.

[Click on each link to know more about the specific college]

You may check out various colleges yourself, here: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

For cutoffs of various colleges, refer this: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor?utm_source=engineering&utm_medium=recommended&utm_campaign=jee-main-2022

Hope this helps. Thanks.

I GOT 59 PERCENTILE IN JEE MAIN 2022 SO I WANT TO KNOW WHICH COLLEGE IN CAN GET

Anurag Khanna 12th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as General, if wrong then kindly correct me in the comment section below.

As per your percentile in JEE-Main 2022,

>>>>> your CRL rank is expected around 419430 - 471500 .

Now on such rank and category you can have chances in following colleges based on your JEE-Main rank :-

  • United Group of Institutions - UGI Allahabad
  • Chameli Devi Group of Institutions, Indore
  • ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Main rank/score you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

Till now the official qualifying cut-offs have not been released and the qualifying cut-off percentiles are released along with final result of JEE-Main 2022 which will be released after both the sessions i.e. most probably in August '22.

But o n such percentile, being a General candidate you have almost no chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.

You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

with 94.67 percentile in Jee main 2022, which NIT can we expect for admission in CSE?

Sevit Kar 11th Jul, 2022

Hello,

You have secured 94.67 percentile in jee mains 2022 so your predicted rank as per my view is 60k so in this much rank you can't expect CSE branch in NIT because the cut offs are very high .

You can opt for colleges like Gurughasidas , kongri Vishwavidyalaya, BIT mesra, Assam University . You can expect NITs like Agartala , Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Srinagar.

If you want to check the college which you can get , you can have a look at the link given below -

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as General, if wrong then kindly correct me in the comment section below.

Now on such percentile and category you have almost no chances to get any of the NITs even in CSAB rounds but you can have some other colleges based on your JEE-Main rank.

As per your percentile in JEE-Main 2022,

>>>>> your CRL rank is expected around 172571 - 193994 .

Now on such CRL rank you can have chances in following colleges based on your JEE-Main rank :-

  • GJUST - Guru Jambheshwar University of Science And Technology, Hisar
  • Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida
  • Pune District Education Association's College of Engineering
  • KDK College of Engineering, Nagpur

Anurag Khanna 11th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See the qualifying cut-off percentiles which needs to be cleared by any candidate to sit in JEE-Advance is released along with the final result of JEE-Main and for JEE-Main 2022 the final result will be released after both the attempts will be completed and the final result will be on the basis of your best score amongst both attempts.

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

my jee main 2022 score is 96.231. what colleges can I get for admission in btech in computer science.

Sevit Kar 11th Jul, 2022

Hello,

The percentile which you secured is a good one but it's not enough to get cse branch in the top Nits like rourkela, Calicut, Trichy, warangal, Surathkal, Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar, allahabad,bhopal, patna.

Your rank as per my view would be in the range 37k -42k. So, in this rank computer science branch would be a tough choice to get . You can look for GFTI'S like

  1. Kongri Vishwavidyalaya
  2. Assam University
  3. Gurughasidas

If you want to check the colleges you can get , you can have a look at the link and take the help of college predictor link given below-

Will i get selected in any nit .i got 20 percentile in jee main 2022 (24 june shift 1) and I am a pwd student?

dhanshree1501 13th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well.

In JEE-Main 2022, the final result will be announced after both attempts have been completed, and the final result will be based on your best score across multiple attempts. The qualifying cut-off percentiles that must be met by any candidate to sit in JEE-Advance are released along with the final result of JEE-Main.

You can get an idea from the JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs stated below until the cut-offs are made public along with the JEE-Main 2022 result:

Common Rank List (CRL) Percentile: 87.8992241-100.00000000

Gen-EWS is 66.2214845-87.8950071.

Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) percentile ranges from 68.0234447 to 87.8950071.

Scheduled Caste (SC) Percentile: 46.8825338-87.8950071

Scheduled Tribe (ST): 34.6728999, 87.8474721 Percentile

PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359

Notably, the cut-off for JEE-Main in 2022 is not shown in the table above; rather, it is the cut-off for the preceding year.

The following link allows you to view the cut-off trends from prior years:

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

The amount of PwD applicants who took the JEE-Main in each session separately makes it now quite difficult to anticipate the probability of admission for PwD students in any of the colleges.

We will therefore be able to estimate your chances of admission to a certain extent once the results are announced and NTA makes available the total number of candidates who applied in each category.

Use this list of universities to find out which ones you qualify for depending on your grades, category, and state.

Use the JEE-Main College Predictor to acquire a list of all the colleges you qualify for depending on your scores, category, and state:
