I am st category and I got 80.73 in jee main 2022, can I get CS in dtu Or nsut?

Vishwathiga J 2nd Aug, 2022

Dear aspirant,

It is quite hard to predict the exact situation as it varies depending on the number of students attempting the exam and the preferences of the students.

Looking at the previous year trends we can say that you have a good chance of getting a rank of about 1.7L with this percentile .

JEE Main mark versus rank

Again, based on the previous trends, you have a good chance of getting CS in NSUT or DTU in the 4th or fifth round if you belong to the Delhi category .

If not, you have a good chance of getting Mechanical, production, environmental engineering, Biotechnology , chemical in DTU and ECE, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, manufacturing in NSUT .

Hope this helps.

riya 21st Jun, 2022

Hello, Utkarsh

During form filling it is not necessary to write your full name in signature. You can go ahead with the signature that you used to do but if you can write your surname as well it will be much better  and if you don't then also it will be okay.

Sevit Kar 31st Jul, 2022

Hello,

As you are an sc category , in this percentile you can get colleges like Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Srinagar, Agartala, Meghalaya.

However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of vacant seats, number of candidates appearing in the examination, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

If you want to know about the colleges you want to get , you can check out the link given below -

I got 82.74 percentile jee main 2022, I am sc candidate of west bengal, male student.....Can i get any nit or government iiit??

Ishan Katoch 31st Jul, 2022

Hi Candidate.

With a percentile of 82.74 in JEE Main, your CRL Rank is nearly 269257 . Considering your category, home-state and score , here is the only NIT or IIIT that you may apply for:

  • NIT Durgapur [BTech in Biotechnology, Integrated MSc in Chemistry]

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur (formerly Regional Engineering College, Durgapur), was established by the Government of India by an Act of Parliament in 1960. NIT Durgapur was established as one of the eight colleges aimed to function and deliver students with a premium education in the domain of engineering in the country and also to foster national integration. National Institute of Technology Durgapur campus is spread over 187 acres of land. NIT Durgapur is a fully-funded premier Technological Institution of the Government of India. National Institute of Technology Durgapur is administered by an autonomous Board of Governors. However, in NIRF 2021 Ranking, NIT Durgapur has been ranked 29th in the Engineering category and 71st in the overall category.

I got 82.74 percentile in jee main 2022, I am sc catagory, male student, west bengal home state,....So can i get any nit or government iiit???

Yash 31st Jul, 2022

Hii,

As you know that competition is very tough nowadays. Only the students above 98 percentile are getting NITs and those who scored more than 90 percentile even they are struggling for IIITs. Although some seats are reserved for reservation categories so you can try for that.

You can also give a try on the basis of your home state quota.

If you want to predict your college on the basis of JEE-Mains score, you can use JEE-Mains college predictor .

Hope this helps you.

I have got 93 percentile in jee main 2022.Iam from up, general category.can I get ECE in iiit una or some other lower iiits in Csab round?

jhasuyash006 28th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Congratulations for your result.

It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank as the trends changes every year because it depends on many factors like number of students appeared, shift, toughness, etc.

But we can predict your result based on the previous trends. With 93 percentile your CRL-AIR will be around 71610 - 80500. You can verify your rank by using our rank predictor tool which is given below:

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

In order to get a seat in NIT Pune in ECE branch, you need to score around 17616 - 22289 as per past year trends.

Thus, with 93 percentile, chances are low for NIT Pune.

But still you have the chances of getting some lower NITs with lower branch.

If you want to check the chances of getting a college, you can go through our college predictor link which is given below:
