can a non-maths student can apply for sat

Dear candidate,

It doesn't have any requirements. However, for engineering you need maths in your high school.


SAT Exam Eligibility 

The conducting body of SAT, the College Board has not set up any SAT eligibility for candidates wanting to appear for the exam. Originally referred to as the Scholastic Aptitude Test, then the Scholastic Assessment Test and now commonly called the SAT exam is conducted for undergraduate admission to colleges/universities abroad. The College Board which is the official SAT conducting agency have not laid down any specific eligibility criteria for SAT exam for students appearing for one of the most recognized entrance exams for undergraduate studies abroad.


Students who are planning to travel overseas to take admission to undergraduate studies are required to successfully qualify the SAT exam. The College Board has not set up any SAT eligibility criteria as far as age limit is concerned. There is no minimum or maximum age limit set by the conducting body for aspirants wanting to register for SAT exam. However, students are required to have successfully passed their high school to seek admission for undergraduate studies. Students belonging to the age group of 17-19 years have recorded the highest turnout for the SAT exams. Countries that majorly accept SAT scores and results are the United States of America (USA), Canada, the United Kingdom (UK), Singapore, the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand among others.

I think your score is not bad any maybe you apply for NTSE  but you may know that they have even higher standard as you think they have higher. So my suggestion is that you may apply for it but also seek other option as your backup plan may help in future.

Dear student, you have the option of choosing the upgradation option in Uttarakhand counselling. You can avail the facility of this option if you are not satisfied with the seat you have got in the current counselling round. With this you will be allowed to take part in the further counselling process without cancelling your seat in the current allotted college.

Hello aspiant,
You cannot hold american citizenship just by stydying there.
Here, below are a the ways in which you cah earn permanent citizenship/ residency.
Obtain agreen card.Before you can become a naturalized citizen, you need to become a legal permanent resident.
If your family member is a U.S. citizen, then they can sponsor their spouse, unmarried children under twenty-one years of age, and parents.
Green card through your job. If you have an offer of permanent employment, you are eligible to petition to get a green card.
Green card as a refugee or asylum seeker.
You need to live in the United States for a certain amount of time before you apply for naturalization. Check that you satisfy the following:[5]

You must have been lawfully admitted into the U.S.

You must demonstrate continuous residence in the U.S. for at least five years immediately before you file for naturalization. For example, if you want to apply in January 2018, you must have been a resident since January 2013.

You must have been physically present in the U.S. for at least thirty months during those five years.

You must prove you have lived for at least three months in the state or USCIS district where you apply.
You must be at least eighteen years old when you file your application to become naturalized.

You should be able to speak, write, and read in English. You will have to pass an exam to demonstrate your proficiency in the language.

You must be a person of good moral character. Essentially, this means you are an upstanding member of society who works, pays their taxes, and doesnt break the law.
Submit your naturalization application.
Prepare for your tests.Youll attend an interview, where a USCIS officer will question you about your background and application. You will also take your English and civics test at the interview. You should prepare for the tests carefully.
Swear an oath.The final step is to swear the Oath of Allegiance.
Obtain agreen cardthrough your spouse.
Become a citizen by adoption.

The SAT exam 2019-2020 will held on 24 August 2019.

The subjects available for SAT exam are

1.Literature.

2.U.S.history.

3.World History.

4.Mathematics level 1.

5.Mathematics level 2.

6.Biology E/M.

7.Chemistry.

8.Physics.

9.French.

10.Spanish.

The registration deadline is 26 july 2019.

The above mentioned are the subjects available for the SAT exam year 2019 which will be conducted on 24 August 2019.
