It is not yet decided , National Testing Agency (NTA) is also mulling to reduce the syllabus for entrance exams. However, this will not impact the JEE Main and NEET scheduled to be held in September as CBSE has revised its syllabus for the 2020-2021 academic session.

CBSE has reduced the syllabus but officially there is no any information about JEE Main 2021 syllabus.

I would suggest you to focus on class 11th & 12th Syllabus & try to clear concept from NCERT books.

Akanksha, the reduced syllabus for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced will come into force for the Academic year 2021. The MHRD has requested for suggestions on this and the revised syllabus is yet to be finalized. So at this point in time, any information we try to help you with is just speculative and wont serve the purpose and so it is good always to hear it from the Horse's mouth as they say. Now if you are enquiring about 2020, everything remains the same with  no change in syllabus for both JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.

Neverthless, just to answer your question, Arithmetic and Geometric Progressions is in the syllabus of JEE Mains under Sequence and Series Topic. If you look at the weightage,  Co-ordinate Geometry gets 5 questions. Limits, Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus get 3 questions slot each. So you might get 1-2 questions from this topic. The rest get 2 and 1 questions slot.
