If you are in class 11th then it's actually right time to start your preparation for jee main examination .
Follow the below tips to prepare well for your JEE -
* First of all go through each chapter and while studying the chapter, your major focus should be on understanding the concepts .
The top books which you can follow for the preparation of your JEE examination are provided below:-
CHEMISTRY :-
NCERT Textbooks - Class XI and XII :- master it as many times questions have been directly asked from NCERT
*Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations by R.C. Mukherjee:- best for practicing numericals in physical chemistry
*Organic Chemistry by O P Tandon:- best for clearing all your doubts in organic chemistry
*Concise Inorganic Chemistry by J D Lee:- Best for your inorganic chemistry.
PHYSICS :-
*Concepts of physics Vol I and II by HC Verma *Problems in General Physics by I.E Irodov *Objective questions on physics by DC Pandey
MATHEMATICS :
*Maths XI and XII by RD Sharma *Complete mathematics by TMH *New pattern mathematics for JEE by Arihant publications
*Practice questions:- after finishing each chapter you should practice numericals and mcqs .You should practise at least 80 to100 numericals and mcqs in Each chapter to master concepts so that you can solve numericals and MCQs easily.
* Short breaks :- take short breaks in between your studies, studying continuously can be brain tiring and it becomes difficult to focus and study with concentration, so take breaks to relax and refresh your brain.
* Make short notes:- You should make chapterwise short notes for each chapter and it should contain all the important concepts and formulas. These short notes will be a great revision tool for your examination.
* Set goals :- set daily like I have to cover these many topics today, weekly goals like I have to cover these chapters this week and solve their mcqs too by the end of this week and similarly set monthly goals to cover the syllabus and meet them without any fail.
* Follow a routine or timetable :- you can make a routine and religiously follow it and try to give at least 7- 8 hours to study each day in your routine.
PHYSICS is the toughest part for most of the aspirants as it has both numericals and concepts to deal with , so keep at least 3 hours each day for Physics.
In Chemistry you have to deal with reactions and learn them and solve questions as well, so give at least 2 hours daily to Chemistry
Mathematics is all about practising questions, so try to give at least around 3 hours each day for maths
*Revise:- revise your concepts, formulas etc at regular intervals . Revision is very important otherwise as you move forward in your syllabus, you start forgetting the concepts you have learned before and you won't be able to perform well in your examination.
*Solve previous year JEE question :- Solving previous year questions will let you know the examination pattern, type of questions asked in the exam and difficulty level of questions, also concepts of the questions often gets repeated so it will be of great help to you . Hello Aspirant
Vibrant Academy is a very popular coaching institute for preparation of JEE and NEET. They have produced very good results in last few years. Also, the faculty there has very good experience of teaching. It is taking offline classes before lockdown but due to pandemic. the classes are through online mode. Now, talking of Unacademy, it is the largest online learning platform. It has very good educators of every field. Also, as the whole platform is online, you get proper analysis of your test, proper guidance from teachers. They have started competitions like Unacademy Combat to increase competition between students. It helps in getting you experience of real exam with students from all over India. Also, you can watch live as well as recorded classes according to your requirement.
So, I would suggest you to take Unacademy as it has various advantages over other coaching taking online classes.
Hope this helps and all the best.
I hope everything is going well for you.
Examine the JEE curriculum in its entirety.
For JEE preparation, you'll need the following books and study materials.
Make a timetable or study schedule.
Understand the fundamentals, reinforce concepts, and develop a problem-solving mindset.
For methodical and supervised preparation, enrol in a coaching programme.
Make a commitment to yourself and stick to it.
Take short breaks in between extended periods of study.
In response to your inquiry, and in light of the fact that you are unsure about the two examinations, the Jee and the SAT,
I'd like to point out that it is entirely dependent on your field of interest. If you want to study engineering, you should definitely take the Jee test, since it is the most significant exam for engineers in the nation. However, if you want to study overseas, you should take the GMAT.
Dear student,
Yes, it is possible that you can prepare for NDA exam, without doing the preparation of JEE exam. You can crack the NDA exam easily, if you have full determination and do hard work. There are two portions in this exam. One is Maths portion and the another one is General Ability portion . So, I am listing some best and easy books to prepare for each part separately.
Mathematics :
General knowledge :
Physics and Chemistry generally come upto 10th class, so read NCERT for these subjects.
And also for the subjects like History, Politics, Geography, just read the NCERT books thoroughlly of 8,9,10 th class.
The best way to prepare for this exam is solving the previous year papers of NDA. These will be very helpful. Also, some questions gets repeated from the previous ones. So, solve as much previous year papers as you can.
Hope this helps.
Self study is very important as it tells you about your weakness, your strong subject/topics. It helps you in understanding topics at your own pace. It is very good that you want to do self preparation of JEE at home. But, self - study only pays when you do your studies with discipline and regularity. Both of them are required along self study to clear any exam. So, I suggest you that you should before starting preparation, you should make a timetable and follow that timetable regularly. In this way, you can achieve your goal without any stress and also, you will get confidence.
Now, talking about JEE, first read NCERT books of Maths, Physics and Chemistry as it will help you in making a foundation. Now, after reading a chapter from NCERT, use another book for understanding advanced topics and to solve problems. Solving problems along is very important.
Now, here are books which you should follow:

Dear Aspirant,
It all depends on your level of motivation band your desire to study in a better college. However, the situation right now is going to be as it is even the year 2021 until the corona virus vaccine arrives in our country which is both effective and produced in mass quantity. Until then, it is highly unlikely that the situation is going to be any better as a normal year should be.
As you have already dropped a year, and so dropping another year can be a little dicey for you. If you perform well then you can get admission in a better college than this year. However, if your performance is not significantly better or is poorer, then you will have to face the exact problem that you are facing right now.
Let me inform you a negative aspect of dropping two years, especially for we engineering aspirants. Most of the placement companies that visit any government Institute do not usually hire students who have dropped two years. It's because they give importance to hiring fresher candidates. Some MNCs like Vedanta has a strict rule against hiring 2 year dropper candidates. This can be some problem.
I know this because one of my friends dropped two years for preparing medical and when she failed in NEET, she joined a government engineering college. There the rule was that the 2 year dropper were not hired by placement companies. But, there is no such restriction in IT sector and the computer science engineering department.
With 88 percentile in JEE MAINS, your rank is probably close to 1,30,000. At this rank of yours, you probably will get admission in some branch of the North East NITs. Furthermore, you have great chances of getting admission in the best state government engineering colleges. In my opinion, you should join this year in a good state government engineering college ( you can also simultaneously prepare for jee Mains 2021). This is a good plan I reckon.
In case you want to know, which colleges you may get based on your JEE Mains rank, then all you need to do is to just click on this URL:-

This shall give you the list of colleges that you have great chances of getting admission in based on the percentile that you have achieved. Good luck in future endeavors.
The last 2 months before the JEE Mains exam is very crucial time. If you waste it then surely your exam will get wasted and if you utilize this time with your full potential and dedication then surely your exam will go better and you will get very good marks . So I am providing some tips to maintain your potential. These are given below.
Have you heard of SWOT Analysis? May be that works for you to put your case forward to your father. SWOT Analysis is nothing but writing down your:
Strengths: Why you think you are ready for JEE Mains in January
Weaknesses: Any weaknesses that your father sees in you that he thinks you are not ready
Opportunities: Any areas of improvement that is required in your subjects and that can help you appear for January session
Threats: What is stopping your father from allowing you to write JEE Mains in January
Make a sheet of this analysis and discuss this with your father. If you have already completed your 12th, reappearing for your 12th means you will be facing tough competition from your juniors when you have to appear for JEE Mains again. Discuss this with him and do explain to him why you think you are prepared.
