J&K
Hi aspirant,
The reason for the mentioned issue must be that you have chosen Yes in self declaration form. If anyone chooses yes, he/she confirms that the person is not eligible for any MBBS/MD or any relevant posts in the state of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh. To change it, you need to make corrections in the application form between 8-12th August at neet.nic.in by paying a small charge. To know more about it, visit https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-application-form-correction-guide
Hope it helps!!
When you sign a self declaration form, you are stating that you are not eligible for appearing for Counselling in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh and hence you are not eligible to see admission in MBBS, BDS, Aush courses of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. You are also mentioning that you do not hold the domicile of both Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. So you need to choose accordingly and select no if you belong to Jammu and Kashmir domicile.
Yeah! You are eligible for the state colleges of J&K but you are ineligible for the 15% All India Quota as J&K doesn't keep seat reserves for other state students. Thus you can take admission in your state colleges but can't apply for any other state colleges.
In J&K there are in total 900MBBS seats and 200 BDS seats.

Hello there
AIIMS conducts its admission through All India Counseling along with some other colleges .AIIMS comes under 15% all India quota so the candidates of any state can apply for this quota EXCEPT JAMMU AND KASHMIR CANDIDATES and they can apply for 85% state quota. And candidates of JAAMU AND KASHMIR don't have any 15% or 85% All India Quota or Any State quota . Unfortunately candidates who hold a Domicile of Jammu and Kashmir cannot participate in All India Counseling and there by take admission in any of AIIMS branches of MBBS.
I hope you got your answer.
