what is criteria for jee mains 2021 amid Coronavirus and lockdown? can i give jee mains if i get 50%or below marks in 12th class (jkbose)

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 24th Dec, 2020
Hello,

Yes, you can apply and appear for JEE mains but you will not be able to get admission in NITs,IIITs and GFTIs and also you wont be able to apply for JEE advance because the eligibility for that is that a candidates should have passed class12thwith a minimum of 75% marks or they must be in the top 20 percentile in their class12examination (65% for SC/ST candidates).

I hope this helps.

is jee main enough to continue the engineering career? because i have very low marks in 12th board.(jkbose) if not, then can supplementary exam can be better for me to improve percentage?

Shrishty sahu 24th Dec, 2020
Dear student,
If you are interested in engineering then jee main is an important step, apart from that there are many examinations conducted by private colleges and state colleges for admission to B. Tech. If you are not confident about your performance then you can fill these forms like viteee, srmjee, state engineering examinations and so on as a backup. If you wish to improve your percentage then you can even take a drop. But if your percentage is below 75% in your 12th boards examinations then you will not be eligible for jee mains. If you wish you can take a drop and give the improvement examinations and side by side prepare for jee mains also. Or else you can look for other colleges that offer B. Tech according to your score.

i am from Banihal Jammu and Kashmir i have passed 12th class from jkbose with 70% marks Sir can i got admission in JMIU Dehli

Raychel 14th Nov, 2020

Dear student,

I hope you are doing well, about your question, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) follows a common application process for all the courses in their college. The application form can be filled from their  admission portal, followed by fee submission through Credit/ Debit card or Net-Banking. The online portal for applying is closed for now and the last date set for the same was on14th September 2020.

They do offer many courses like BA, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, BA-LL.B, BHM, BPT, B.Li.I.Sc, BFA, BTTM, and B.Ed, so to get a seat in any of these courses it is important t score a valid mark in the JMI Entrance Test followed by an Interview.

  • Valid rank in JEE Main is the primary requirement to secure admission in B.Tech and B.Arch courses.
  • JMI offers BDS program in which candidates have to qualify in NEET UG conducted at all Indian levels.

Hope this helps!!

has jkbose 12th class syllabus really reduced to 30% or not??

saurabhkhade4699 4th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

The central board of secondary education has decided to reduce the syllabus by 30 percent due to the loss of academic instruction time. They have deleted various topics across streams in wake of the covid 19 pandemic and they delays caused by the same.

Being someone who just passed out from 12th grade in the year 2020 I believe a number of significant topics have been scrapped off ,which were relevant particularly in the case of political science .

I have scored 94 % in 12 JKBOSE in medical stream. I wanna seek admission In DU and Im from SC category. Do I have any chance of getting there in arts stream (Geography+Pol. sc.) ? plzz do tell

Prachi Pant 5th Oct, 2020

Hello there

Since you are from medical stream but want to pursue course in arts so you will face a deduction of every 2.5% per each subject. According to the eligibility criteria set by DU, your 'Best Four' marks determines your eligibility to get admission into any college.

For the calculation of your best four marks, you've to choose one language subject from list A and three elective subjects from list B which is set by the university itself. If there's a change in stream, you face a deduction of 2.5% per each subject.
