Yeah! CSE and IT students are eligible for most of the government jobs. For engineering graduates there are two kinds of job opportunities. The first one kind is non-technical jobs and the second one is technical jobs. In case of technical jobs, one need to apply there engineering skills in the job where as in non technical its not related to the subject.
Now some of the non technical examination aspired by many students every year are UPSC CSE, State Civil Service Examination, SSC CGL/CHSL, RRB NTPC etc.
For technical jobs there are PSU's which employees a good number of graduates through the GATE examination. Some of the good PSU's offering CSE and IT's are BARC, ISRO, ONGC etc.
Apart from this there are departmental examination in cyber crime departments and different departments in Railways, Metro's etc in order to get jobs.
So through IT or CSE you have quite a good scope.

Dear candidate there are plenty Government jobs available after completion of your B.Pharmacy degree. Firstly after your Pharmacist Registration you can be a Government Hospital Pharmacist, for both central like Port, Railway and state government hospitals. Rather than that you can be Drug Inspector and your career would be accomplished. And you can get jobs in Government Colleges as a Lecturer. Apart from that your government jobs chances are Government Analyst, which is a very prestigious job.

If people are telling you that the course you opt is not worth you time and you would not be earning well for it ,then I will suggest that you just ignore them as the diploma in pharmacy is the complete as self sufficient course. The employment rate is high and the course and curriculum are gaining popularity day by day.

The candidates who pass Intermediate from an open schooling are eligible to pursue higher studies and employment. So you can definitely apply for recruitment after completion of Bachelor's Degree. In some cases candidates who have passed from open schooling will be ineligible so you need to check the eligibility criteria before applying.
