JoSAA
Hello Murali ,
With your above percentile score , it's not possible for you to grab any seat in any government colleges as your percentile score in JEE mains is likely to be very less.
Your expected rank under EWS category is around : 335544 - 377200 .
Although ,You can get a seat in any branch in private colleges , so you can look on that .
You can check your admission probability in any other colleges according to your rank/percentile score with the help of college predictor tool here :

I hope that this will help.
Hello,
As you have floated a seat in round 5,you have got a seat in round 6.If you want that seat in round 5 you can choose it as you've floated that seat but you have to take that seat and cancel the seat in round 6.
Hope it helps.
In the last round of JOSAA there is no option of " Slide or Float". In last round the only option is to " Freeze". And If you don't select freeze then your allocated seat will be cancelled it will not be auto freeze.

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
Hi.
Usually this happens when a student has not researched about the previous year cutoffs of the colleges, according to which the preference list should be filled during JOSAA Counselling. Furthermore, IIT counselling is not based on JEE Mains rank and not all NITs admit admission with 30000 Category and other state quota. For CSAB please have a look at closing ranks of the colleges you wish to get admission into with category rank and home state quota.
Good Luck
YES the 6th Round for JOSAA Counselling occurred today, and it was the FINAL ROUND of Seat Allocation for IITs according to JOSAA Counselling schedule. From today 5pm onwards, Online reporting: fee payment / document upload / response by candidate to query (if required) (Round 6). FINAL ROUND of seat allocation for IITs as started.
Hi
During JOSAA Counselling the option to SLIDE, FLOAT, FREEZE is not optional. You must select one of those options because then only it will finalise your position in counselling, whether you will participate in successive rounds or you have accepted the seat and will withdraw from further counselling. If you did not select any seat, there might be chance that due to incompletion of form your seat will be cancelled.
It may be both advantageous and disadvantageous both as top rankers in spite of going somewhere else may come to nitk for AI as it is a cse related branch which might create problem in getting good branches for lower rankers though it may make life easier for people opting for core branches as when people will get good branch they would mostly not join core branch just for college tag hence it can be both good or bad but overall for the industry it is always better.
Hello Aspirant,
See on such ST rank any of the NITs are tad difficult but on such ST rank you have good chances to get some IIITs through JOSAA counselling.
