sir i am resident of uttar pradesh belong to general catoegary can you tell process of counselling for karnataka private medical college And it is done through all india counselling or karnataka stata counselling

Siddhi Shenoy 25th Oct, 2020

Hi Mit Gupta,

a candidate who does not belong to Karnataka state and has no domicile of it, then he/she can apply in the private medical colleges through management quota. The All India counselling is done for Government Medical Colleges in Karnataka. Most of the private medical seats are allocated to state quota. If you want to apply through state counselling, you are required to have completed class 12th in Karnataka or you should have domicile certificate of Karnataka.

If you wish to know which college you have a chance of getting seat in, use the following college predictor tool: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=qna&ici=qna_answer

should we have to download karnataka neet verification slip if we have already downloaded the kcet verification slip

Gbharath Raj 1st Dec, 2020

Hello applicant,

*You cannot take Kcet verification slip into neet verification slip. Both are different counselling and different exams and are held separately. You need particular documents for respective counselling process. You can contact the neet examination authorities and ask for a special request for verification of documents. If not, there is no possibilty you can attend the counselling process.

*The document verification slip or (NEET verification slip) to participate in the counselling process can be downloaded from the link given below:-

https://cbseneet.nic.in/cbseneet/online/CandidateLogin.aspx

*After clicking on the link, you will be required to login with your user ID, password and copy the security code. The user ID and password remains the same as the one used while filling the registration form.

*Candidates who have verified their documents are provided with a secret key which will be used to submit preferences during the counselling session.

Hope that helpful

for karnataka neet councilling round 1 is it compulsory to join if a seat is allotted..? if we have not joined in the allotted seat can we proceed for next round of councilling and for other states councelling..?

Ayush Pandey 20th Nov, 2020

There are four options after the allotment of seat in kea neet counseling. You can choose anyone of them

1. You can lock your seat and dont want to participate futher

2. You can lock your seat and are willng to participate further, after selecting this option your seat will be safe even if you dont get any other upgraded seat in second round.

3. You can leave the seat that you got in 1st round, and participate further. After selecting this option your alloted seat in 1st round is not safe.

4. You are not satisfied with alloted seat and dont want to participate further rounds too..

Totally non karnataka seats in karnataka state.total linguistic minority (telugu) seats in karnataka. neet rank 193905 . I am andhra pradesh. can i get seat in linguistic minority college (present competition). total non karnataka application s nearly 9350.I am career360 subscriber. thank you.

Anurag Khanna 19th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

I am enlisting down the Linguistic Minority colleges in Karnataka :-

  • A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences
  • MVJ Medical College & Research Hospital
  • Navodaya Medical College
  • Raja Rajeshwari Medical College & Hospital
  • Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Medical College
  • Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general.

On such rank and category you have very low chances of getting any linguistic minority college under state quota of Karnataka according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the closing rank for linguistic minority colleges was around 1,00,000-1,15,000 under state quota for General category.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
