Yes you can absolutely do that if you think the college's you have entered in the 1st round option are not fine you can add different Colleges of your choice it can be different from the 1st round options no issues. You can try out different Colleges and increase your chances of getting a seat!

Generally this type of mistakes never happens in KCET counselling but if its happened with you i suggest first once again you need to check your preference college list once more then you can contact with the KCET authorities they will surely solve your problem. As you are cancelling the seat alloted to you in second extended round of Kcet counselling process then the full fee amount will be forfeited. You can choose choice 4 which says that you are not satisfied with the alloted seat and want to quit the counselling procedure. Also, don't forget to return the original admission order, verification slip, green card and challan receipt. Cse in adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology chikmagalore is good. Faculty is good and supportive to students. If we consider as placement point of view , many software companies visit the campus . The companies like Aricent , TCS , Wipro , Capgemini, L and T ,   Tech Mahindra visit the campus. The package offered ranges from 4 lpa to 2.5 lpa. If you have knowledge about coding and some software then you can get good placement.
