SEJAL JAIN 2nd Aug, 2025

Scoring high marks in 10th standard isn’t just about studying harder it’s about studying smarter. Start by understanding the syllabus and focusing more on important and high-weightage topics. Make a daily timetable that balances all subjects and stick to it consistently.

Practice previous years' question papers, revise regularly, and don’t hesitate to clear your doubts with teachers or on the Careers360 website. Also, take short breaks, sleep well, and stay away from distractions like excessive phone use. sir i have 3 backlogs because of health problem am i eligible for barch

Sonakshi Kumari 22nd Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you are eligible to pursue B.Arch provided that you clear your backlogs before admission. For B.Arch admissions in India, the general eligibility is-

10+2 passed with mathematics as compulsory subject and minimum marks in 12th 50%.You need to qualify its entrance exam NATA(National Aptitude Test in Architecture) or JEE Mains paper2.

If you still have backlogs pending at the time of admission/document verification, you may not be eligible until you pass those exams and receive a clear marksheet.

All the best for your recovery and architecture career.

can i apply for jee barch if my 12th score is 65% obc Category

Kishan Bhakat 11th Jun, 2025

hi,

Yes, you can apply for JEE B.Arch if you have scored 65% in your 12th exams and you belong to the OBC category. For JEE B.Arch, the basic eligibility is that you should have passed 12th with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. The percentage requirement for OBC category is relaxed compared to the general category. Usually, candidates from OBC need at least 65% in their 12th board exams to be eligible. So, with your score and category, you are eligible to apply for JEE B.Arch.

Hi iam got jee mains plan rank 1839(79.44) in obc rank and 5628 in general rank and also barch 6003 in obc rank and 18001 in general rank which institute I got please reply sir

hemanth kumar 11th Jun, 2025

Your JEE Main rank of 1839 (79.44 percentile) in OBC and 5628 in General category can get you possible engineering colleges. In case of B.Arch, you have a rank of 6003.

You may want to look into colleges which have admitted ranks similar to yours in the past years. State level colleges or the private ones may be some of the alternatives.

To have a closer look, you may visit the college predictors or counseling tools, which are offered online. They will facilitate your access to tools that will enable you to estimate your chances of joining particular colleges depending on your rank and preferences.

With around 30000rank in jee barch exam can i get in drcuet with general category

gopi 5th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

If your B.Arch rank is approximately 30,000 in JEE in general category, it might not be easy to get admission into DR-CUET (Delhi Regional Centre of the Central University of Technology) or comparable or significantly better institutions, and therefore, the cut-off is much earlier for general candidates in good reputation colleges at about a range of 5000-15,000 rank. That said, you may still have a chance at newer or even less reputed NITs, SPAs, or GFTIs as an option at JOSAA or CSAB; you are recommended to apply in all rounds of counselling, keep open state-level architecture colleges too, and explore private universities that are accepting NATA or JEE B.Arch scores.

With around 30000rank in jee barch exam can i get in drcuet with general category

Tanisha chaudhary 5th Jun, 2025

HEY THERE!!!

  1. Given a JEE B.Arch rank of approximately 30,000 in the general category, gaining admission to DCRUST for B.Arch is, frankly ,not feasible .
  2. The university’s recent cutoffs are far more competitive; for instance, the round 1 cutoff for the general category in 2024 was only 36.
  3. Your rank is significantly above this threshold, so admission to DCRUST with your current standing is highly improbable.
  4. It would be advisable to explore alternative institutions or consider other academic pathways.

With around 30000rank in jee barch exam can i get in drcuet with general category

harsh singh 5th Jun, 2025

With a JEE B.Arch rank of 30,000, getting admission in DCRUST is not possible because their cutoff ranks are much lower and they mainly consider NATA scores, not JEE Paper 2.

You can try these options instead:

Apply to other colleges accepting NATA scores.

Consider management quota seats in private colleges.

Prepare and appear for NATA exam for better chances.

i cleared through my jeemains paper 2(barch) and i plan on giving jee advanced, what are the topics that are likely to be asked and how can i prepare for it, is both the question and syllabus same for btech and barch students in jee adv?

kumardurgesh1802 24th May, 2025

Hello there,

For JEE Advanced, the syllabus for B.Tech and B.Arch students is largely the same in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, but B.Arch candidates also have an additional section on Aptitude and Drawing.

Topics likely to be asked:

  • Physics: Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics, Modern Physics, Thermodynamics

  • Chemistry: Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry

  • Mathematics: Algebra, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, Vector and 3D Geometry

  • Aptitude (for B.Arch): Visualization skills, 3D perception, Architectural awareness

  • Drawing (for B.Arch): Drawing and sketching related to architecture and building forms

Preparation tips:

  1. Master NCERT textbooks thoroughly as a base.

  2. Solve previous years’ JEE Advanced papers and mock tests.

  3. Focus on problem-solving speed and accuracy.

  4. For B.Arch, practice drawing and aptitude tests regularly.

  5. Time management and conceptual clarity are key.

  6. Join coaching or online courses if needed, especially for drawing and aptitude.

In summary, the core syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, and Maths is the same for both B.Tech and B.Arch, but B.Arch has additional Aptitude and Drawing sections in JEE Advanced. Prepare accordingly.
