sir, mam i want to give jee b arch and i am having 2 marksheet 1 of isc board in which i am passed but i scored 25 in maths and the second one is of nios can i to give jee barch

Arvind Kr 16th Dec, 2019

Hey dear ,

if you have completed your ISC ,passing in all the subjects without getting carry in any subject and also scoring the qualifying percentage for jee then your are eligible for JEE . nios board is valid in jee , so if you have passed in all the subject from NIOS board then there is no problem. So , a certification of passing ISC  from nios in all subjects makes you eligible for JEE. but passing in just a single subject from any board whether it is a state board or NIOS will not be acceptable in JEE . So , you have to pass in all the subjects from a particular board. Hope your doubt have been solved . Happy helping and all the best for JEE 2019.

my jee main barch percentile is 83.0718, and I have ews and home state of spa Vijayawada. will I get that collage seat or any other collage ?

Rank in JEE Main Paper 2 can be calculated by the formula:

Rank = (100-percentile)*(No. of students appeared for the examination)/100

As the no. of students appeared for Paper 2 are 112679, your rank will be around 19000. However as the no. of students in April changes, your rank will change according to that.

With this rank there are very less chances of getting a NIT. You may apply to other colleges offering Architecture branch.

You can check the last years' B.Arch cutoffs using the link given:

i have applied for both Btech and Barch ( Barch along with Btech) and now i am interested in Barch only, so is it compulsory to give both the test? Also, will it affect my Barch score if i do not appear Btech test?

Mayank Sinha 7th Dec, 2019
Hello dear aspirant,

Since there are individual forms of both papers of jee mains which are fir b.tech and b.arch programs therefore surely you can give one and skip the other. Its all upto you which exam you actually want to write.
Hope this would be beneficial to you

which have better future BArch or B Tech

Ashish Pal Student Expert 15th Nov, 2019

Hello dear aspirant.

Both B-tech and b-arch have a bright future and a very good career . It totally depends on you , your strengths, likes and dislikes that in which direction you go.

But from my point of view b-arch is relatively easy while BTech is a little tough more popular much in demand , have high package and placement.

But still interest matters very much...

Hope you get it.

Good luck.

is campus placments are offered in nit of barch

Abhishek Roy Student Expert 14th Nov, 2019
Hey!There
Placement scenario is not Soo good for B.Arch stream. As few companies used to visit for recruitment, you would get disappointment if you keep expectation regarding placement. After pursuing BArch if you have good CV then you apply for any office..Also you could get into good office during internship period. So also you can look for good internship during BArch course..
I hope this will be helpful to you
