i got 58.23 percentile in jee mains 2024. I am from kerala so which all colleges can i get

Devyani Prakash 14th Feb, 2024

Hello student,

Based on your percentile it will be tough to get admission into colleges through the JoSAA Counselling. But you have two options at hand. One is that you can apply in different state counsellings, for example, if you applied in Uttarakhand counselling, then you could be eligible for many colleges, such as Institute of Technology Roorkee, College of Engineering Roorkee, Bishamber Sahai Institute of Technology, Roorkee, etc.

The second option, which I highly recommend, is that you should go for the second attempt. Then you will have a scope for improvement and if you score well, then you will be eligible for a lot of colleges in the JoSAA counselling. So prepare well and aim high

If you want to check your rank range based on your percentile, then you can refer to the Careers360 JEE Main Rank Predictor: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna

If you need more information regarding which colleges you would be eligible for based on your marks and details, then you can refer to the Careers360 JEE Main College Predictor: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna

Can i change engineering college in 1st year from Kerala to Bangalore. ?

Tanya Gupta 15th Feb, 2024

Hello,

Yes, you definitely can change your engineering college in 1st year but it totally depends on your current college if they will allow you to change your engineering college as most of the college require you to pay the full 4 year tution fee for the college and then only you are allowed to change your college. This is the main reason why most students fail to change their engineering college and have to continue with their current college.

Hope this helps,

Thank you

Hy Abhishek Kumar,

Yes, you can definitely use your Bihar caste certificate . If validity is procured and in some cases, u need to have NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate, then the state castes are considered. For JEE they generally consider SC, ST & OBC.

Thanks,

Question : Directions: Select the set in which the numbers are related in the same way as the numbers of the given sets. (NOTE: Operations should be performed on the whole numbers, without breaking down the numbers into their constituent digits. E.g. 13 – operations on 13 such as adding /subtracting /multiplying etc. to 13 can be performed. Breaking down 13 into 1 and 3 and then performing mathematical operations on 1 and 3 is not allowed.)
(9, 7,189)
(4, 13, 156)

Option 1: (5, 9, 160)

Option 2: (6, 9, 162)

Option 3: (8, 5,125)

Option 4: (7, 8, 188)

Team Careers360 25th Jan, 2024

Correct Answer: (6, 9, 162)

Solution : Given:
(9, 7,189); (4,13,156)

The product of the first and second numbers is multiplied by 3, to get the third number –
⇒ (9, 7,189)→(9 × 7) × 3 = 189
⇒ (4, 13,156)→(4 × 13) × 3 = 156

Let's check each option –
First option: (5, 9,160)→(5 × 9) × 3 = 135 ≠ 160
Second option: (6, 9,162)→(6 × 9) × 3 = 162
Third option: (8, 5,125)→(8 × 5) × 3 = 120 ≠ 125
Fourth option: (7, 8,188)→(7 × 8) × 3 = 168 ≠ 188

So, only the second option follows the same pattern as the given number pair. Hence, the second option is correct.
