Hey.
INTERNSHIPS are an important part of law school curriculum. Various colleges arrange for internships for their students themselves and they have a few weeks/ month allocated for the same. So for that it would be better to take guidance from your seniors/ teachers as you need to take care for your college attendance too.
Other than that you can pursue your internship in the vacations that you get from college personally if your college doesn't provide internships. The places where you can intern are- under any lawyer or even a judge in the District court, High court, Supreme court. You can also go for any law firms. It is advisable to go to the courts or firms at a later stage. As in 1st year you haven't studied much subejcts and these internships would be less usefull now. So for first year you can also go for tribunals or forums like national/ state consumer forums, National/ state human rights commission or even State/district legal services authority.
Best of luck
Hello Saanvika Yadav
Yes, you can give BHU LLB Paper for demo. It is up to you whether you want to practice it or not. According to me it is a very good decision to practice the paper to know about the difficulty level of the paper. But you do not need to give the exam along with them. You can arrange the papers online and just practice. Also you might not be knowing some answers.
Hope it helps you.
Hello,
Eligibility Criteria for LLB course of 3 year by BHU clearly states that a candidate needs to be graduate in any stream with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate considering all the subjects in the three years excluding those subjects whose only pass marks are needed and it doesn't anyway contribute to overall marksheet of degree program. Or any other degree recognized by BCI under at least 10+2+2 pattern with minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate considering all the subjects in the three years.
There's relaxation for reserved category, OBC needs 45%, ST/SC needs 40% to be eligible for LLB 3 year program.
So, for a person to apply for BHU 3 year LLB Program, he/she needs to be a graduate with respective aggregate catering to their category.
