All the best student,
Hope this helps you.
Because you are an OBC you have an advantage over others and need to score only 54% in jee to get into iisc bangalore, or just need to be selected for feellowship under kvpy-sx. study hard and score a fifty four and above in jee or get a kvpy fellowship and you will definitely be selected.
Hello Student
KVPY sx syllabus covers all the concept, chapters, topics from the class 10 to 11 and 12. Similar to the SA stream the main four subjects covers the syllabus physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. Everything is the same but KVPY for 12 class is added to the KVPY SX syllabus.
KVPY SB syllabus is covered all the four subjects physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. Syllabus of first year of any basic science course.
Hope this helps.
The different streams of KVPY are for the students in different levels. The stream SB is for those Students enrolled in 1st year in basic science will go under this stream where as SX is for those Students enrolled in 12th standard.

Both the exams patters are very different and depend on the students what they thunk about the paper. KVPY aptitude test is lower than JEE Mains. Whereas the the maths of KVPY is way more tougher than JEE mains. You can crack KVPY by following NCERT books but on the other hand JEE Mains require somewhat higher level of preparation than NCERT. One more thing is that Kvpy has an interview round also. KVPY and JEE test the candidates knowledge on different levels.Only students having a strong base can answer these questions. The selection rate of KVPY is 1.8% only. KVPY is meant for testing an individuals basics and research aptitude while JEE Main requires more bookish knowledge and formula application skill.
