Laptop
Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
Tablet has limited uses ,it may look fancy , but laptop has more space , compatibility . Just because ipad has the portability factor and a touch screen , the laptop may very well train you for college work and be use atleast for year 1 of college and then you can change it to another .
The laptop lets you get down to business right away and there aren’t limitations in any of the apps because, well, they are the full versions and will have all functionality and so when researching how to do complex operations, it makes it easier.
It depends from college to college. If you are joining a college where you need to make presentations then you need one. Colleges that focus more on theoretical learning do not compel you to buy a laptop, but due to covid online classes are going on so to attend classes you must have laptop.
On the other hand, having a laptop for a college student is essential as you could need it for continuous research on the Internet.
Dear aspirant hope you are doing well. Yes laptop is not Compulsory for civil engineering but yes it is needed some times for design infrastructure of building through AutoCAD software. Basically it important for some reason but again it is not compulsory.
Hope its help...
Thank you
Dear Aspirant! Hope you are doing well!
Actually ,Personal Laptops are not much needed for mechanical students as long as you are in your respective Campus. It varies from college to college, it's better to ask your faculties or immediate seniors of your college whether it's needed for you or not.
If you have personal interest in coding or you want to settle down with IT companies , then You need to learn different coding languages and different skills like web development, android development ,JAVA, C,C++ and many more then having personal laptop will be a must thing.
Hope it helps! All the best!
Hi aspirant, In first year of college, there wont be a need for laptop as you will be taught all the branches of engineering. As you will be work from an engineer background, you need to at least have a i5 laptop or above category laptop with i7 or i9 core processor from your second year while appearing for an internship and to deal with other stuffs including projects etc.
Thank You.
Dear aspirant! Hope you are doing well!
It completely depends on your branch but I would recommend you to have one if you belong to CSE, CSIT branches . You need to have good knowledge of coding languages and skills in order to settle down in IT Companies. In this Covid situation, Max. companies are taking their placement exams online ,in such condition, you will need laptops . As long as you are in campus, You will be provided with labs and desktops to code and learn.

Dear aspirant,

1-Honor MagicBook 15 Laptop (AMD Quad Core Ryzen 5/8 GB/256 GB SSD/Windows 10)
2-Lenovo Ideapad S145 (81W800TDIN) Laptop (Core i5 10th Gen/8 GB/1 TB/Windows 10)

Hello
Under 45k you will get laptops without a good gpu or a gpu which will be useless.
Preferably you go for a laptop for basic working and coding and some small softwares.Go for i5, 8gb ram and most important take one with a ssd or a ssd slot. One with type c slot is good provided by lenovo in most models.
Hi aspirant,
See engineering itself is a technical course and you will need laptop in one form or another at most of the times. Peoples in computer science and engineering, Information technology or electrical and communication engineering have direct use of computers and if we talk about other branches such as mechanical civil they have no direct uses but they need laptops for creating digital assignments, writing essays and carrying research works. Writing thesis or creating reports is very common now a days which is impossible without laptops. However I will mention some branches with the lowest use of laptops:
Hope it helps!!
