Dear Student,
These are the newly added branch in B.tech course so its hard to tell that whether you will get good placement with these branches or not. Still if you choose these specialization through CSE then there is very good chance that you will get equal opportunity as like a CSE/IT student. After CSE/IT definitely you can go for the AI or machine learning or any other specialization in CSE.
And other thing is that, placements is totally depends upon the college for in campus placement and for off campus then you need a good skill where branch doesn't matter.
Good Luck :)
If you first discuss about the advantage then Artificial Intelligence will definitely be the path to success in the upcoming few years, usage of artificial intelligence has made hard work turn into smart work.
Machine learning is one of the applications of Artificial Intelligence. It provides the potentiality to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed.
Disadvantage of the above two would be such that because of evolution of AI and ML, the need of manpower has reduced. People can become jobless but both these branches still need years of development and improvement.
Good luck!!

So yes it's possible to get learn all the things even if you didn't studied it in intermediate. Only thing is that keep your basics clear before the college that would hardly take 15-20 days maximum.
