What is the leave policies of a IFS officer?

Suchana Datta 17th Aug, 2021

Hi,

Every IFS officer gets 30 days of Earned Leave + 8 days of Casual Leave + 2 days of Restricted Holiday leave when in India and when abroad in addition he gets 15 days of extra leave.

The Officer with family can visit India twice in a term of 3 years posting generally on Government expense with some exceptions like in some of the non-family stations he can visit every year.

Yes he can avail of study leave to attend such seminars or any training while continuing to draw the salary. Study leave can be availed of in India as well as abroad for a total of 2 years in the entire service of the Officer.

Hope this helps

Wish you luck

for example if the online classes begins from 3rd june 2021 to 21st august 2021 I took 15 days leave in between how much attendance will I get out of 100 percent

Shrejal 20th Aug, 2021

Hello student, In the time period stated by you there are total 64 workings days in this time period excluding the public holidays and weekend offs. As you have told you have taken 15 days off so your attendance comes to be somewhat 76%. But no one can tell you exact attendance because university attendance depends on the number of lectures.

All the Best!

I am appearing for neet. although i enrolled in a 4 year bsc biotechnology course in a private university, i only appeared for the first semester exam and then took an extended leave. what should be my exam code?

Shweta Goel 10th Aug, 2021

Hello aspirant,

If you have not given your both semester exams for first year then the code you have to fill is "02" because this is for those candidates who studied physics, chemistry and biology last in class 10+2.

Incase you had these subjects in your first year of graduation and you had appeared for the exams then the code you have to fill is "05"

To know more about qualification codes for NEET, you can visit this link given below

I hope this information helps you.

in NEET UG for part A can i leave some question if I dont know or I should attempt compulsorly?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 30th Jul, 2021
Hello

Yes, you can of course leave the questions whose answers you don't or if you are not sure about the correct answer. There's no compulsion to attempt all the questions . It's just that in section A, one can attempt all the 35 questions , while for section B, there's internal choice i. e you have to attempt a maximum of only 10 questions out of the 15 questions.
In both section A and B, you should attempt only those questions whose answers you know, because for each wrong answer, your 1 mark will be deducted.

To help you further

Here's a brief a neet 2021 exam pattern

* Neet examination will be conducted for a total of 720 marks.

*Question will be from 4 subjects

-------) physics,

------)chemistry,

------)zooloy

------)botany

*There will be 50 questions ( 35 + 15 )in each subject . So, there will be a total of 200 questions ( 50 question x 4 = 200 questions).

------) Section A :-it contains35 mcqs

------) Section B :- it contains 15 mcqs out of which any 10 mcqsis to be attempted

So, in each subject you have to attempt only 45 questions.

*Total number of question to be attempted

= 45 mcqs per subject x 4 subject

= 180 questions can be attempted.

* Duration of examination is 3 hours.

Marking scheme:-

* 4 marks will be awarded to you for every correct answer

* there is negative marking of one mark for every wrong answer

*No mark is deducted for unanswered questions

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

>>>> practising chapterwise questions

>>>> then revising the chapters,

>>>> solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation ,

>>>> Go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

I am first year ihm mumbai student and going to crack neet with good Marks this year....can I leave ihm after 1st year or their is some bond that I have to pay whole course fees and complete course....please answer me

rajeevanand843 8th Sep, 2021

Dear aspirant

Whenever you join a new degree/professional courses then your original documents like passing certificate, marksheet, caracter certificate, school leaving certificate are taken by the college authority. And now you want to join the mbbs course then there also they will need all of your original documents so you will have to take all that from the previous course.

So many college ask the students to fill a bond that if you quit in between the course you have to pay whole course fee or any bond amount mentioned in the paper.

So I don't know about ihm mumbai and there are no related information is also available on internet so it's better to ask your college authority about the process of quiting the course and what all you need to do get back your original documents. They will guide you through this. Then also you should have good reason why you are quiting the course to tell them.

So it's better you go your college office and ask about this and you might remember if you had sign any bond paper like that or not.

Best regards !!

is only mathematic subject is enough for cracking eamcet exam I had gone thoroughly through maths can I leave other two subjects for just reading concepts of them and definitions

Bhavesh gupta 24th Jul, 2021

hello aspirant

I hope you are doing good . As per your query, I would glad to inform you that with only mathematics section you can crack the eamcet but you must be sure that you have great problem-solving approach because you have to solve almost all questions with accuracy to crack it at a good level. I would suggest you to focus on chemistry which is the most scoring subject in entrance . Go through the previous year papers, the concepts are also same in it

If you have any other doubt then you can always reach us to clear them :)

we are always available to help you out and guide you

Thankyou

My old cousin did BTech from Manipal Karnataka and got package of 4 lpa He was good at studies and got IT at NIT Agartala but took drop to get CS in decent NIT He said that all Pvt colleges are same except BITS and I should leave VIT Vellore CS for Amity as I will also get mass package Is he true?

Aditya 2nd Sep, 2021

Hi aspirant,

At first you can't compare VIT to other colleges like Amity. You didn't mentioned the year he got placed, times have changed and the placements at VIT for CSE are unmatched with exception of BITS. Vellore institute of technology ranks 15 in the nirf engineering rankings and one can't get such high ranks until it excells in each domain.

Vellore institute of technology, Vellore has an average package between 7-8 lacs currently for CSE that will definitely touch 9+ by end of four years. Last year some the top companies hiered 120+ engineering graduates with super dream packages like Microsoft 44,00,000 AppDynamics 39,20,000 D.E.SHAW 35,25,000 UDAAN 35,00,000 WorkIndia 35,00,000 Cloudera 31,33,000 Amazon 29,50,000 Motorq 26,00,000 Morgan Stanley 25,30,000 PayPal 23,80,000 WellsFargoEGS India 20,00,000.

Even the biggest mass recruiter Wipro had an average package 6.5 lacs. So your conception is not true and it is the labour you put which decides the package you will grab.

Hope it helps!!
