Bachelor of Library Science is a one-year undergraduate degree programme for students who want to work in the library science field. It is concerned with the administration and upkeep of the library's numerous resources.B.Lib.Sc. is a two-semester, one-year undergraduate degree programme that provides knowledge on the administration and organisation of the library's numerous resources via both theoretical and practical sessions. Students will learn about the numerous Library Science resources.
Eligibility Criteria:
A bachelor's degree from a recognised college or institution is required.
Must have received a minimum of 50% in the B.A./B.Sc/B.Com or equivalent exam from any institute or university.
Must have received a cumulative grade point average of 45 percent in B.A./B.Sc/B.Com and a minimum of 50 percent in M.A./M.Sc/M.Com from any institute or university.

M.Lib.I.Sc. (Master of Library & Information Science) is a postgraduate course that incorporates the advanced study of principles and practices of library & information science along with the current technologies applied to these processes. The eligibility criteria for this course is that a candidate needs to be graduated with any stream from any recognized university. Applicants with a graduation degree in B.Lib.I.Sc. (Bachelor of Library & Information Science) and B.Lib.Sc. (Bachelor of Library Science) is given more preference. Candidates are required to have a minimum aggregate of 50% - 60% in a Bachelor’s degree.
The duration of this course is 1-2 years and admission is done based on the Entrance Test/ Merit list/ Direct Admission.

The course fee is between 1.5 to 5 lakhs.

As per the UGC, guidelines a person can pursue two degrees at a time provided that both degrees are not done in the regular mode. As you have done your BA Library Science from Open Mode and BEd from Regular Mode then you will have no problem and both of your degrees are valid.
