Iam from general category. What if i score 230 marks in NEET 2020....am i able to get admission in Mahatma gandhi medical college jaipur???? Im from Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan... please reply

Sharon Rose Student Expert 7th Aug, 2020

Hello,

The cut off in 2019 for Mahatma Gandhi  Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur was 470 marks for general category under 85% state quota counselling. Considering previous year cut off marks you may not get seat in this college with 230 marks. You need to score above 470 marks to have decent chances of getting seat in this college as cut off may increase or decrease depending on total number of seats available, total number of candidates applied, previous year cut off etc.

We have NEET knockout package to help you with your preparation, you may check the details here NEET Knockout

should I get mahatma gandhi medical College jaipur if I score 380 in neet (EWS)

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 28th Jul, 2020

We do not have EWS cut off in specific for Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, Jaipur per se. But in general, the average cut off for EWS Category in Rajasthan was more than 550. This is for GMCs. Now 548 marks secured a seat in GMC, Dharbanga under Management Quota. If you look at the cut offs of various Colleges of Rajasthan at our page https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-rajasthan , it is clear that any score less than 550 is tough for a seat under EWS Category. Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . So you need to aim for more than 550 if GMC is your target.  And because you have 2 more months to prepare for NEET, you may as well use this opportunity.
