Answer lateri have 5 main subject + 1 optional in arts stream cbse 12th passout for applying in rie cee from what basis i will calculate my total marks obtained from best 5 marks or else major 5??
In CBSE board marks is calculated on the basis of best of five subjects including English is mandatory.you have one optional subject the marks of that additional subject are considered if you score higher in this subject than other subjects but you cant replace it with English,Their marks can be mentioned separately on the mark sheet but are not included in the percentage calculation.
