Priya Patel 12th Oct, 2021

Hello Shruti

You should refer to NCERT books first for your preparation make sure you don't skip NCERT book. Most of the questions from Inorganic chemistry is directly from NCERT.

After, completing your NCERT you can refer to OP Tandon

Make sure you refer to previous year papers to get an idea about the type of questions asked in the exam and MCQs for your practice.

It is recommended to focus on the topics which carries more weightage in the exam.

All the best!!

I have scored 86.2% in my 12th class can I get major entrance scholarship in McGill university? I hope you will reply me soon.

Rituparna Priyadarshini 19th Nov, 2021

Hello.

First of all congratulations for scoring such high scores. McGill University's first criteria for awarding these scholarships is academic excellence. So it is obvious that they'll consider the applicant with the highest percentage. And there may be students who would have scored more than you. You cannot be very sure about it. The next criteria is leadership. It not necessarily mean to th leadership shown in extra curricular but in all spheres of life. So ,just hope for the best.

Pragya sarwaiya 25th Dec, 2021

Hi

You haven't mentioned, what kind of error you made in your registration form.

Moreover class 12th details are given priority over class 11. So if its not a big mistake then don't worry, it won't disturb your successive counseling rounds.

Best of luck

is josaa having major changes in opening and closing ranks every year for nits

Nimisha Sharma 30th Sep, 2021

No, the closing ranks for various colleges do not vary drastically. Even this year it will follow the same pattern as per the previous years.

But after JoSAA counselling there are two special rounds conducted by CSAB. In this, the closing ranks for various colleges change heavily every year and cannot be predicted exactly. But till the six rounds of josaa, it will remain somewhat similar to the past cutoffs.

You can check out the link below to explore colleges according to your jee mains rank.

How is it that students have got better ranks in JEE Mains 2021 than what they had expected? Like in 2020, a student got AIR as 340000 (approx) for 72 percentile but this year, for same percentile, the student has got AIR as 250000 (approx). How come there is a major change in percentile vs rank.

Anuj Kumar 23rd Sep, 2021

Hi,

The Rank is based on percentile. Percentile depends on Number of students appearing in Exam. For this year, the total number of students appearing is lower than previous year. Due to this, a person has got better rank at same percentile than previous year.

I hope this will solve your query.

Thanks!!!
