how I study Malayalam optional for upsc through preparation from home and also for the entire mains ?

See, first of all taking an optional in UPSC should be something that you have interest in and the availability of study materials too count here ,the reason being syllabus of optional is nothing short of graduation level.

Now,coming to preparation for UPSC,you can go through the steps mentioned below;

You can go through the gradual steps as mentioned below in order to start your preparation for UPSC:

Learn the UPSC Syllabus by heart, that's the most important step in order to crack the exam, by doing so you'll be aware of what to read and what to skip.

Have an integrated preparation of prelims and mains,nowadays what's happening is even in prelims, UPSC frame questions based on Mains syllabus, so this helps a lot.

Read any newspaper like The Hindu, or Indian Express on a regular basis to be updated as well as gaining knowledge, this will help you in prelims as well as answer writing in mains, as you'll be able to provide relevant current details by thinking about it economically,politically,geographically etc. It's good if you can link any answer with the present scenario by providing relevant data, it helps to fetch more marks,

Start with basics, for each subject, you can do with NCERTs for this. As you progress, move on to other relevant books, keep your resources minimum like Polity by Laxmikanth, History of Modern India by Bipin Chandra etc.

You should start practicing answer writing in advance, even in a little way, writing mains is a huge task for nine paper, it requires immense practice along with knowledge. In this case,the sooner you start,the better it is. There are sites which provides you questions,so you can take help of that.

Practice previous year question paper which you can get from UPSC site including mock papers, and test series which you can get it from any of the sites extensively dedicated to UPSC, , it's highly important to evaluate your performance persistently.

can we write sslc Malayalam exam in point wise answers?

Kerla SSLC Malayalam medium exam is a subjective type of paper, and in any subjective type of paper it depends upon your presentation skills that how you attempt the question, yes you surely can write the answers in point wise manner but if it is mentioned in the question that you will have to write in a paragraph then you cannot,

Would an average student get admission in EFLU who studied in Malayalam medium?

Hi,

The English and foreign language University takes admission on the basis of EFLU entrance test.

University offers the graduation and post graduation courses in the disciplines and sub-disciplines of English and foreign languages.

If a student perform well in the entrance test and meet the minimum eligiblity criteria he can get admission in EFLU.

I was born in Tamilnadu . But studied class 1 to 12 (CBSE) in kerala . I dont know to read and write malayalam but I have studied tamil till 10th. Im I eligible for tamilnadu state quota.(parents were also born and studied in tamilnadu state board)

According to Tamilnadu NEET domicile criteria, your parents nativity will be considered in your favour if you are a native of Tamilnadu but studied from 6th to 12th outside Tamilnadu. In such cases, parents Birth Certificate/SSC Certificate/Ration card can be looked in for authentication. Now, you have your complete education outside Tamilnadu. And permanenet residency certificate is not considered instead of nativity certificate. So unfortunately you cannot claim Tamilnadu's State Domicile for NEET. You can find jobs under the firm where the language requirement is English or Hindi... there are many firms where English are required try to search this type of firm...

as nowadays English is very common language and you can also learn Malayalam...

the most important thing starts required to get you job is your skill if you have skill then language will not be a barrier..
