Your percentage is very less. for most of the professional courses minimum percentage required is 50% and you are falling short of it.

It is suggested to give improvisation of graduation subjects or else practically you will have to study in distance for masters as well.

Do you have any specific interest/s?

IT has good scope. Management consulting is one of its kind domain, wherein you get to work with various industries/sectors and solve the problems (as reported by your client of course). India, being a developing economy and enormous potential to widen/develop industrial interface, needs this domain more than anything to shape it up.

What firms take undergraduate candidates in management counsultancy profiles in India?

Mona 9th Feb, 2017
Instead of thinking to join directly in a firm without any work experience and no masters in it, will suggest you to start with internship in it. Check websites like Internshala nd Letsintern which can help you with firms looking for candidates like you. Also you can approach directly by sending mails or calling them if they are open to take you up. So basically an aggressive approach in companies you are interested to join can help you with it. Top companies are BCG and Bains. There are others. Start your search!

What is it like to be a management consultant? What are the pros and cons?

Mona 9th Feb, 2017
To be straight with the fact, there are hundreds of thousands of management consultants in all sizes and types of firms as well as the majority who are independent consultants. Great consultants have helping personalities combined with high-level analytical and communication skills. It is like when the project goes well, the feeling of accomplishment is seen in the leader, his team and even the company but if I talk about the other side, if it fails the blame goes on the client but no one is ready to take the blame, neither the client nor the other party. Many join this profile for trips, money and prestige of being at this level but it involves lot of risk taking and on spot decision making as well.
