Is EIE (Electronics and Instrumentation engineering) good option from MIT Manipal? Does it offer good salary package both in private and government sector?
If you look at EIE as a whole it is a good branch. An amalgamation of EEE and ECE makes it a perfect branch to learn electronics as well as instrumentation subjects such as control systems, biomedical instrumentation, control instrumentation, and so on. During the 4-year course, you will learn a mixture of subjects which is a plus. Why? Because it will open the doors for numerous Job opportunities.
Speaking about placements, Manipal has a good placement record.
Core companies like Schnider Electric, ABB, L&T, GE, Honeywell, Mahindra, and many more visit the company.
There are also internships offered to students during the ongoing course which are later converted to full-time employment.
All-in-all Manipal offers students numerous opportunities ( specifically job-related), and also the facilities are exemplary, therefore, there will be no regrets there.
But, If you are specifically looking for a government job as an EIE engineer, you most probably will have to apply off-campus.
Joining a private company with EIE might not be the best choice if you have a keen interest in EIE. You might as well opt for CSE in that case.
The average base pay of an EIE engineer is 60k/month. Now, this may vary for private companies. Private companies will pay lesser. Your initial package should be around 3-4lacs per annum.
Speaking about PSU's that recruit EIE engineers (you'll have to qualify GATE to get placed here)
IOCL,
ONGC,
BHEL,
HPCL,
I hope this helps!
Thank you!
For btech electrical engineering should I join VIT chennai in category 2 or should I join Manipal main campus? Im concerned about the fees too.
As both colleges are best of their features and specialisations but getting in the main campus is better than going for bit Chennai. So try to get in Manipal as it is a core course main campus impact will be more during placements or any other requirements. As you have a choice to pick Manipal and lead on.
All the best.

Which college is better in terms of placement MIT Manipal Or SRM Chennai?
When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:
- Infrastructure
- Curriculum
- Faculties
- Placement
As you both the universities are the chosen best private institution in India. Thus comparing them can be hard until and unless you analyze the facts in details.
By following the official website of both the colleges, I would say SRM chennai will be better for you not only for placements but also for the other co parameters. The curriculum is very well balanced in SRM and you get a scope to learn academic skills as well as industrial skills. Also the teachers are highly involved in research which is always a positive sign for any student of science. Also the placement rates are around 88% which is a very decent figure and obviously greater than the figures of MIT.
The average package offered is around Rs. 6LPA which varies from courses to courses.

For our convenience the expected rank range is assumed to be on between 9000-14000. The actual rank may vary. Considering the previous year cut off here is the list of few branches in which you have chances of getting seat based on the predicted rank

if i took cs/it in mit manipal then what are the chance that i will get a job of more than 10 lakh or a good internship?
Hello,
The CSE branch of MIT Manipal , compared with the branches , have perhaps the best placement scenario. The average package goes as
CS/IT/CCE —
Core companies : 10–15 LPA.
Highest can go to 25 LPA and lowest around 4 LPA.
Manipal Institute of Technology has a large number of job possibilities. Every year, more than 160 recruiters and over 100 placement partners visit the Institute for placements.
Manipal Institute of Technology provides a unique curriculum that allows for a lot of practical experience. Undergraduate students spend roughly 4 to 6 months in the workplace during their studies, whereas postgraduate students spend about a year.
MIT Manipal requires each student to complete at least a one-month internship in order to complete their course and receive a degree. This internship is available after the second or third year of study. This internship's viva and report will be completed in fourth year ( either the 7th or the 8th semester- depending on the department).
The college does not assist in providing company.

Safe score for MET 2021 phase 2 to secure computer based branch in MIT manipal or Jaipur
Hello,
The Manipal Universities are considered as one of the best private institution in India in terms of their academic excellence so this increases the competition among the students for securing admission in it and as well as the most demanding branch is CSE where the crowd of students is quite more than any other branch. So seeing all this now you can get an idea that if you want Manipal main campus or Jaipur campus than surely you have to keep your targets high because of the CSE hence, your focus should be only above 200 out of 240 because gaining this much will definitely going to make your work easy of securing admission.
