Your rank should be under 2k . Last year to get a rank under 2k , As you had score 446 .this year also I guess it will be more or less same. So your chances is high to get admission.

Hello Aspirant ,You can get a seat in MIT and NIT'S college after completing your diploma . You need to qualify a examination called LEET( Lateral Entry Entrance Exam ) Exam .

LEET exam is conducted for Diploma holders who want to get admission in B.E or B.tech courses. This is national level exam. But you can also apply for state level exams in you belong.

I dont know about manipal university, however being a LPU alumni, i would recommned LPU.

LPU is a right place for Aerospace Engineering. The programme comes with engineering minors:

It depends on number of participants and it varies every year. 350 is more than enough to just get into Manipal (main campus) if you aren't aspiring for any specific branch, you'll have a choice of just 2 or maybe 3 branches if you're lucky whereas you'll have multiple options at manipal jaipur because the cutoff here is much more relaxed than the main campus.

You have not mentioned anything like domicile or category hence I will assume you to be from General Category. Please give your rank in the question. According to your marks your chances of getting a seat in EC or ME in MIT Manipal is high if your rank lies below 4820 for EC  and for ME 6138
