Yes, Manipal provides scholarship on the basis of merit.

Candidates who have secured within the first 100 ranks in BTech merit list in MAHE-OET  are offered 100% freeship.

Candidates admitted to BTECH courses from rank 101 to 1000 of the respective merit list are eligible for merit-cum-means scholarship.

Scholarship amount shall be determined based on the parents’ annual income (from all sources) as mentioned below:

Upto     Rs.3 lakhs- 100%

Above  Rs.3 lakhs upto Rs.5 lakhs- 90%

Above  Rs.5 lakhs upto Rs.7.5 lakhs-  75%

Above  Rs.7.5 lakhs upto Rs.10 lakhs-  50%

Above  Rs.10 lakhs upto Rs.12.5 lakhs- 25%

Above  Rs.12.5 lakhs-  10%

This is up to you whether you have interest in it or it is convenient to you or not but as per my view you should apply for it as this is also a very good college to pursue B.Tech program but the only drawback is its high fee so if you are okay with it then you should go ahead.
