Dear aspirant,
I don't think amrita university would anyone choose for bsc biotechnology as it does not have encouraging placements and also the research outlook whereas manipal University do has a brand name although you can try for more good colleges but between these two manipal University is a better one.
Hello Student
BSc biotechnology in Manipal University is of three years UG course. Where as B tech biotechnology in university is of four years degree course. BSc biotechnology impart knowledge of theory of the subjects B tech biotechnology imparts the knowledge of theory plus practical field experiences. BSc biotechnology include the knowledge of theory and BTech biotechnology implements this theoretical knowledge to practical. BTech in biotechnology creat the scope for placement is good BSc biotechnology respect is little bit of less good than BTech biotechnology courses.now it is your choice understand which course you will take for your future course of study to make your future bright

SRM:
In this regard, SRM has a slight advantage over Manipal. ... Till then SRM is offering placement in some of the big companies in India. SRM has a better placement percentage over Manipal. But if we ignore the minute details and highest salary offered then the Placements of both the Universities are kind of same.
It is a good private engineering college, and it is one of the best in India. Placements: Almost 96% of the students got placed in computer science and engineering. The highest salary package offered is 39 LPA by Adobe, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA by Wipro.
Manipal:
It's infrastructure is really nice and faculties are also good and solves the doubts of students. You can go for it if you are interested but it's fee structure is a bit high when compared to other colleges. Placements are also nice there and average package is 5-6 lakhs.
Admission to the following courses offered by MAHE, is through online Manipal Entrance Test (MET) followed by the Department Test (DT). Applicants must first appear for Manipal Entrance Test (MET) and the shortlisted candidates will be eligible to appear for the Department Test (DT).
Thankyou
