hey, my ews certificate issued today (9 - 3 - 2022) with validity ( 21-22 ) on it , will it last for my entire 2022 or march 31 -2022 ? ( financial year)?

Sohamsengupta8 9th Mar, 2022

Hello Student

Your EWS certificate has been issued on 9 March 2022 so validity period should of 1year i e. be 8 march 2023. Validation period of EWS certificate has  a mistake in the respective department. For this correction here to apply to the respective department within the stipulated period with xerox copy of your certificate which you have got from the respective department. The correction should be made within a stipulated time and you have to apply  as soon as you have received the EWS certificate.

Hope this will help.

i married on 27 January 2022. for ewc certificate for the financial year 2022-23(income for my family for the financial year 2021-22), i need to add the income of my wife for the time from the day of marriage (27 January) to 31 march 2022 or for the whole financial year 2021-22.

Arhana Chakraborty 5th Mar, 2022
See as per the rules, the annual family income must be less than Rs. 8 lacs for the EWS certificate. SO if you have married in January 2022, then you have to include the net increase in your family income in the annual income of the family for the year 2021-22. Now in general, if including the salary of the whole year don't harm the eligibility of the EWS then you can surely mention it, it won't matter. But if it does matter your eligibility, then you can visit the SDO/DM/BDO office & discuss it with the officials, they will guide you out regarding the procedure, as there is no official mentions available regarding such case. So it would be better to be sure about it, if the whole year financial income affects your EWS criteria.

I hope this answer provides you some insight to your problem. Wish you a great eve!

I am filling viteee application there is a column which says passing year and month my year is 2021 and my t.c says 17/7/19( admit) to 24/7/21(decleration) and a para below says I was in 12th from 04/20 to 03/21 what should I fill in place of month, July or March ? confused! help

Sharon Rose Student Expert 25th Feb, 2022

Hello,

You have to consider the month in which you have passed class 12th as passing year in the qualifying examination. If the class 12th results were declared in the month of July in 2021 them your passing month will be July and the year will be 2021. If the results are declared in the month of March 2021 then you need to consider the passing month as March and passing year as 2021.

The passing year and the month will be given on the class 12th certificate. So please check the passing month and year on the certificate before filling VITEEE application form.
