Sir I was born on March 1991 i b to obc can I apply for ibps.

masteranshu27 29th Jan, 2022

The eligibility criteria to apply for IBPS PO (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officer) with respect to age is as stated below -

  • Minimum Age - 20 years
  • Maximum Age Limit - 30 years
  • Relaxation in Max Age Limit for OBC NCL (Non Creamy Layer) Candidates - 3 years
  • Relaxation in Max Age Limit for SC/ST/Ex Serviceman/PH/1984 Riot Victims related Candidates - 5 years

As you have stated above that you belong to OBC Category, so if you are from OBC NCL Category, then you are eligible to give IBPS PO 2022 Exam (with respect to age) (as your age will be 31 this year, and there is 3 year relaxation in maximum age for OBC NCL Candidates, thus making the maximum age limit for OBC NCL Candidate as 33 years).

I have an income certificate valid from march 2021 to march 2022. I am applying UPSC CSE 2022 under EWS category. Can I get EWS 2021-2022, using the existing once certificate or do I have to apply for a new income certificate and then get EWS? Kindly help

Subhrajit Mukherjee 25th Jan, 2022

You said that the EWS certificate, you have right now is valid from March,2021 to March 2022. Now if your EWS certificate was issued in March, 2021 then it was valid for the fiscal year 2020-21 i.e., the validity of the certificate was till March 31,2021. But if your certificate is issued after 1st April 2021, then its valid for the fiscal year 2021-2022. Now if you need the 2021-22 fiscal year certificate, then you apply now for the EWS and its expected that the certificate is going to be issued by March,2022 as a result, the EWS certificate will be the valid one for the Fiscal year 2021-22.

you can give UCEED exam in 2022  if you want because Students appearing for the 10+2 board exam in the year 2022 are also eligible to apply for admission under UCEED. However, they must pass the qualifying exam at the time of admission, otherwise, the candidature will be canceled from getting admission for undergraduate in a different design program.

please anyone tell me my dob Is 17 march 2004 I am eligible for ssc mts 2022 or not

Prangya panda 18th Jan, 2022

Hello,

The age of candidates applying to the post of MTS should be 18 to 25 years. As you have mentioned in your DOB, this implies that you will not satisfy the age criteria as the exam will be in the month of January 2022. Hence, you are not eligible to give the exam. The eligibility criteria also mention that you should be a citizen of India. You must have passed the Class 10 or equivalent examination from a recognized board. There is relaxation in the upper age limit for the OBC category. So, you can try next time. All the best.

Ews certificate issued on 17 april 2021 shows its valid for financial year 2021 .....my querry is ::::is it valid upto 31 dec 2021 or 31 march 2022 ????

piyush singh 15th Jan, 2022

Hello Aspirant ,

The EWS certificate is valid till 31 March 2022 and not on 31 December as financial year in India starts in 1 April and End in March 31 so you will have to update your EWS certificate after 1 April 2022 you can do this by visiting the Tehsil or SDM office of your district.

Also different states have different validity for EWS so check your states validity also.

Hope this helps.
