I got 160 marks in jee mains 2021 march session and july 168 marks. I got percentile 57 . but as shown here 100+ is 90 percentile then how come I got only 57 percentile

Nimisha Sharma 29th Aug, 2021
Such a low percentile is not possible with a score above 160, kindly check the answer key with precision. Also make note that you get +4 marks for the correct answer, -1 for every wrong answer and 0 marks for unattempted ones.
Also, percentile for every subject is mentioned in the report card of Jee mains, you will get the idea in which subject you lost maximum marks.

And since your percentile score 79.52 , therefore yes if the prediction goes correct , you will be eligible for jee advance . Your predicted jee mains CRL rank lies somewhere between 2,09,418-2,35,417.

You need to be have very proper roadmap as time is very less and you need to be selective with the topics which comes frequently in the jee mains previous year . Dont foucs much on maths in last time ,go thoroughly with the 10 year and try to solve chemistry questions as much as possible .

BEST OF LUCK

my dob is 22 march 2003 . kya mai form bhar sakti hu kyuki nda 1 2022 me 2 july 2003 se dob lerhe hai

Shubham Dhane 24th Aug, 2021

Hello,

No you cannot fill the NDA 1 2022 form you are not eligible for NDA anymore. To be eligible for NDA candidate must be between the age limit of  16.5 to 19.5 years  and there is no age relaxation provided to reserved category applicants for the NDA & NA examinations as per the rules set by the Union Public Service Commission. So in order to be eligible for NDA 1 2022 the candidate must be born between July 2, 2004, to July 1, 2007. As you were born in the 22nd March 2003 you are no more eligible for NDA.

I have mistakenly registered as obc in jee main 2021 and I gave Feb,March attempts then in correction & registration time of both April and May sessions,I corrected that to general. My April admit carried my category as general and now may admit released and it carries OBC category. Why?What to do?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 22nd Aug, 2021

Hi Aspirant!

As you mentioned that admit cards has been released, so now nothing can be done to change the details on admit card. I would suggest you to write the exam.

There are very low chances that someone will ask you during exam about this mistake (information). But during counselling, you can make it correct. Also, if you register yourself as OBC candidate in counselling as well, but you do not submit the category certificate then you will be treated as general candidate, so no need to worry.

Thankyou!

I got 64 percentile in st category in March session . can I get into NIT with this score

Sharon Rose Student Expert 21st Aug, 2021

Hello,

The overall rank with the given percentile score is expected to be in between 368280 - 414000.

To check the expected cut off percentile click on the link below

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Your category rank is expected to be in between 40000-50000. Based on  the previous year cut off you do not have chances of getting seat in NIT. You should have scored minimum 94-96 percentile score or above in JEE Main in order to get seat in NIT. To get some idea on cut off for NITs click on the link below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-nits

You have chances to qualify in JEE Main considering the previous year cut off. The cut off for ST category was 39.0696101 percentile and this year it is expected to be in between 40-45. If you are interested to get seat in IIT you may prepare for JEE Advanced 2021.

Cut off depends on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. It may increase or decrease depending on these factors.

To know the colleges in which you have chances of getting seat you can use we have JEE Main college predictor tool, you can use it by using the link below
