Hlo, I have a doubt I had passed our 12th in 2024 but last year we get RT in mathematics and I had done improvement of July but steel not clear . Now I am enrolled in 2nd chance of improvement march which result not decided. In this case I am eligible for Cuet ug exam or not? Is I am eligible for centeral university such as du or bhu ...? Which marks need to fill in Cuet ug application form? Plz reply

sadafreen356 6th Mar, 2025

You're eligible to appear for the CUET UG exam, even if you're awaiting the results of your improvement exam in Mathematics. The CUET UG eligibility criteria require you to have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board, which you've already done in 2024.

However, to be eligible for admission to central universities like DU or BHU, you'll need to meet their specific eligibility criteria, which may include minimum percentage requirements in your Class 12 exams. For example, DU requires a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for general category students.

When filling out the CUET UG application form, you should enter the marks you obtained in your Class 12 exams, including the marks you secured in the improvement exam, if available. If your improvement exam results are not declared yet, you can enter your previous marks and update them later, if needed.

To confirm your eligibility and the specific requirements for your desired course and university, I recommend checking the official websites of DU, BHU, and other central universities, as well as the CUET UG information bulletin.

Prachi Kumari 2nd Mar, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you can apply for the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) board and still be eligible for JEE 2026 and JoSAA counseling . Here are key points:

  1. Eligibility for JEE – NIOS students can apply for JEE Main & Advanced , as long as they meet subject and percentage criteria.
  2. JoSAA Admission – NIOS is accepted for IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs through JoSAA.
  3. Minimum Marks – For IITs: 75% (or top 20 percentile) in 12th is required. For NITs/IIITs: 75% in PCM.
  4. Apply for NIOS – You can appear for Senior Secondary (Class 12) exams in 2025 or 2026.
  5. Ensure PCM Subjects – You must take Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in NIOS.

Hello,

Your date of birth is 15 March 2007, which means you are turning 18 this year. Admission eligibility depends on the course and institution you are applying to . If you are seeking admission to a school, college, or university, requirements may vary based on the program and location.

I have maharashtra obc-ncl issued in FEB 2025 and its validity on certificate given till "31 March 2027" and during mhtcet registration in January they asked "do you have obc-ncl valid upto 31 March 2026" with options "yes or no" i choose no that time. Can i use this FEB ncl in cap admission.

Poral Siddartha (siddu) 28th Feb, 2025

Since your OBC-NCL certificate was issued in February 2025 and is valid until March 31, 2027, you can use it for CAP admission despite selecting "No" during MHT-CET registration in January.

Ensure you have the OBC-NCL and Caste Validity Certificates ready.

Provide the correct details during CAP registration and document verification.

Contact State CET Cell, Maharashtra if any issues arise.

If i got compartment in 2 subjects class 12 phy and chem and according to cbse policy u can only give compt exam once for one subject and i clear it in the month of july overall im passed, then i get chance to give comp 2 which will be held in feb or march for my 2nd subject chem , what code for neet should i fill ?? As overall i have 6 subjects but i passed in phy after giving 1st compartment , and will pass chem after 2nd compartment

kumardurgesh1802 26th Feb, 2025

Hello there,

Since you are appearing for the second compartment exam in Chemistry in February/March , your final qualification status will be determined after you pass it .

For NEET 2025 , you should fill:

NEET Qualification Code:

  • If you clear Chemistry before NEET 2025 registrations close, use Code 2 (12th pass with PCB).

  • If you are still waiting for Chemistry results at the time of registration, use Code 1 (appearing for Class 12 exams).

Once you pass both subjects, you will be fully eligible for NEET. Make sure to update your details if required during the correction window.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

If a person passes 12th in 2025 CBSE and gives compartment in 2 subjects in july 2025 and feb/march in 2026, then can he give jee mains in 2027 and is he qualified to get NIT in 2027 if he score 99 percentile

Prachi Kumari 22nd Feb, 2025

Hello,

Candidates can attempt JEE Main for three consecutive years starting from the year they pass Class 12. If a student clears the compartment exams in 2026, CBSE will consider 2026 as their passing year.

Since JEE Main allows attempts in the passing year and two following years, they will be eligible to appear in 2027. NITs require candidates to have passed Class 12 in the same year or two years before admission.

So, they can appear for JEE Main in 2027 but will not be eligible for NIT admission in 2027.

Hope you find it useful !

But conducting cbse board exam twice a year is perilous at ground level. Cbse is envisioning to reduce stress but genrally when board exams are held in feb-march, syllabus is completed by nov, dec itself. Imagine the speed of syllabus of completion when 1st of the pair of exams is conducted nov-dec

kumardurgesh1802 21st Feb, 2025

Hello there,

CBSE's plan for two board exams a year aims to reduce stress, but at the ground level, it creates challenges :

  1. Faster Syllabus Completion – Schools may rush through topics , affecting conceptual learning.

  2. Increased Pressure – Teachers and students will have less time for revision , leading to rote learning.

  3. Higher Student Burden – Instead of relief, students may face constant exam pressure .

  4. Logistical Issues – Managing two national exams adds strain on CBSE and schools.

Without proper planning, this move may increase stress rather than reduce it.
