Dear Student,
so the job opportunities for MBA Finance stream is in areas such as banks, investment and portfolio management firms, accounts departments of companies etc and the subjects you will be studying under finance are, Corporate Investment Management, Portfolio Management, Investments, Security Analysis, Fundraising etc.
Where as in the case of MBA Marketing job opportunities lies in the areas of, brand management, advertising, sales departments etc and the subjects you will be studying under this stream are, Marketing Managements, Operations Management, Consumer and Brand Insight Strategy, Digital Marketing etc.
When it comes to stating which is better, it all comes down to personal interest and preference. Both streams are equally good when it comes to job opportunities. If finance is something you prefer then go ahead with that or if marketing is something you like go ahead with that.

Hello Aspirant,
Aspects like the campus infrastructure, student facilities, faculty members ,training or quality of education provided, etc are all more or less the same in both institutes. They are all good as well, the faculty is highly experienced and supportive. But when it comes to placements ASM’s Institute of Business Management and Research (IBMR) seems to be a little ahead of Suryadatta Institute of Management and Mass Communication (SIMMC).The average salary and highest salary offered in SIMMC are 4.85 Lakhs and 10-13 Lakhs per annum respectively. On the other hand the average salary offered in IBMR is 5.50 Lakhs per annum and the highest salary offered in 20 Lakhs per annum. Godrej, IDBI, Capgemini, HDFC, ICICI,SYDTA, ATMA, FIGmd, Mapro, Mswipe, Suzlon and Byju's are some good companies visiting SIMMC for MBA students and in particular for finance HCL, Hexaware, HDFC, Metro Services, S&P Global are few of the good companies that visited the campus. IBMR provides additional training to students such as coursera courses, Harvard learning courses, SAP, Six sigma certification etc for better job prospects. Top recruiting companies in IBMR are Acer, HCL, ICICI bank, SIEMENS, IBM, HSBC, LG, Videocon, AXIS bank, Tata,Jaro education, OPPO, Yatra, Saint Gobain and many more. However, if you are skilled, meritorious and efficient enough, you can bag a pretty good placement in any good college.
