Can I get smbt igatpuri clg with 229 marks and air 6.8 lakh in round three or mop up ??

Taabia Fathima 1st Sep, 2025

Hey Gayathri:)

Thanks for reaching out!

With 229 marks and an AIR about 6.8 lakhs, getting an MBBS seat at SMBT medical college, Igatpuri through round 3 or mop-up round is unfortunately not possible, as the closing ranks for MBBS seats over the last few years were around 40-80,000 for general category, your rank is beyond that range. This means you won't be able to get a govt or state quota mbbs seat there in regular rounds. If you're determined for MBBS you may still check management or NRI quota seats, though this comes with very high fees.

However, you may explore BDS, allied health sciences, or paramedical courses with your score .

heyy, can I reattempt 2nd pu exam next year as I have taken a drop for neet 2026, also is it mandatory that i have to give my internals once again? i have scored pretty well in internals, but my theory marks suck

Awadh 1st Sep, 2025

Yes, you can reattempt your 2nd PUC (Pre-University Course) exam next year in Karnataka if you have taken a drop for NEET 2026 and wish to improve your marks, especially in theory papers. Repeating the board exams is a common choice for aspirants who aim for better scores to meet eligibility requirements or boost NEET ranks.

Regarding internal assessments (practicals, project work, and assignments), Karnataka PU Board generally allows students to retain their previously scored internal marks when re-attempting 2nd PUC theory exams. If your internal marks are good, you do NOT have to appear for the internal assessments again; your earlier scores are carried forward to the next attempt. Only students who have failed to secure passing marks or did not complete their internal work may need to redo their internals, and this is usually communicated by the college or PU board.

The usual process involves applying as a repeat or private candidate for the next PUC exam cycle through your PU college or the official Karnataka Board portal. Keep an eye on official notifications for deadlines and the mode of application.

It’s highly recommended to confirm these details directly with your college’s exam cell or the Karnataka PU Board, as individual colleges may have slight variations in policy or require additional documentation.

In summary, Karnataka PU Board lets you reattempt your 2nd PUC theory exams next year while carrying forward good internal marks, making it easier for NEET aspirants who are repeating and want to improve just the board exam scores.

Is it possible to improve Kerala boards 12th marks after passing? I could only score 72% and i want to improve to 75% so is it possible? if yes how? any help appreciated! thanks in advance.

Awadh 31st Aug, 2025

Improving your Kerala Board 12th marks after passing is generally not possible through the normal re-examination process, as the board does not commonly provide an official "improvement exam" for the plus two standard like some other state boards. Typically, the Kerala State Education Board allows students to apply for re-evaluation or scrutiny of their answer scripts if they believe there might be an error in marking. Re-evaluation can potentially help increase marks, but the chances of increasing your overall percentage significantly (from 72% to 75%) solely via rechecking are limited as it depends on the error margin in evaluation.

The Kerala Board’s official website and recent updates do not mention a formal improvement exam for bettering marks after passing. However, it is recommended to contact your school or the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan (the Kerala Board examination authority) to confirm if any special provisions exist or if supplementary exams can be taken for improvement, though supplementary exams are usually intended for failing subjects rather than improving passing marks.

If you want to improve your percentage, a common practice students follow is enrolling in professional or degree courses that accept improvement marks or give weightage to semester exam performances. Alternatively, pursuing higher education with good scores can overshadow small differences in board percentages.

Another indirect option is to pursue certifications, entrance exams, and coursework that add value beyond your board marks, which can boost academic profiles.

In summary, Kerala Board 12th students cannot officially improve their marks through a formal improvement exam after passing. Re-evaluation is an option but with limited scope for large increases. Checking directly with Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan or your school is essential for clarity on the latest policies.

Devanshi Goyal 30th Aug, 2025

HELLO,

With 255 marks in NEET 2025 under the OBC category you have fair chances of getting a BAMS seat in Maharashtra during the 1st to 3rd rounds of state counselling. The exact chances depends on the seat availability , category cut off and your state merit rank , but private and semi government colleges are possible at this score

1.Government BAMS college :- Chances are very low since cut offs for OBC category in Maharashtra Government colleges are usually much higher

2.Private BAMS Colleges :- You have a good chance of getting admission in the 1st-3rd rounds

3.Deemed /semi Government colleges -Possible in later rounds depending on vacant seats

Colleges you can consider :-

1.Dr. DIY Patil College of Ayurved , Pune

2.Sumatibhai Sha Ayurved Mahavidyalaya , Hadapsar

3.Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalya , Pune

4.YMT Ayurvedic Medical College

Is any chance to get seat for MBBS with 288 marks and 233707 rank in NEET 2025

Kavya S P 30th Aug, 2025

With your 288 marks getting into government colleges is really hard because they usually read higher cutoff if you want to grab the seat there you can look for private institution or through the management quota but the fees will be higher than the government colleges based on your choice you can choose your particular college

jac counselling improvement wale marks consider hote hai jaise maine 2024 mai main exam diya usme mai pass tha lekin eligibility poori nhi ho rahi to to maien improvement de diya lekin marks to ek subject mai vadh gaye lekin ek subject mai rt aa gya to kya mai eligible hu dtu ke liye

sadafreen356 30th Aug, 2025

if you got an RT in your improvement exam, you are not eligible for DTU through JAC Delhi counselling, even if your other marks improved.actually RT means you have failed that subject's theory paper and JAC Delhi requires candidates to pass all necessary subjects.

you are  ineligible, as you have not met the basic passing requirement.

Hope it helps!!!
