For eligibility as JRF or Assistant Professor, you need to officially qualify the exam under your correct category. Since you have cleared your 4th semester backlog exam and the results will be available in November, you could still be enrolled in this academic year if university allows acceptable provisional admission with pending results. Should the admission authority be strict about having all semester's results available at time of counselling, you will have to wait until next year to apply. For Kashmiri Migrant quota in Karnataka government medical colleges, the cutoff has been on the higher side, like 415 in 2023 and 431 in 2024. The 330 to 380 range people mention is usually for private or management quota, not government seats.
