I got 86.82 percentile in mht cet pcb group and 211 marks in neet and I want to take admission in government college of engineering in biotechnology in Maharashtra and I belong to sc category so can I get coep college

Nikita shahi 30th Jul, 2025

Hi Yash!

First of all, you’ve got good scores in both NEET and MHT CET, and your SC category definitely gives you a stronger position in the admissions process. COEP is one of the top-tier engineering colleges in Maharashtra, and it mainly considers MHT CET scores for BTech programs like Biotechnology. With 86.82 percentile in PCB, you stand a chance, but PCB group students generally face more competition because most engineering seats are filled via PCM group. You could still try for COEP, especially if the cutoff drops a bit. Make sure to apply to other state-run biotech colleges too as a backup.

Abhilasha Agrawal 28th Jul, 2025

With 55.75 marks in NFAT 2025 and SC category, you have a fair chance of getting admission in newer NFSU campuses or UPFICS Lucknow. Main campus seats are tougher due to higher cutoffs.

Abhilasha Agrawal 28th Jul, 2025

With 107 marks in general category, you are not eligible for government BAMS seats. But you may get admission in private BAMS colleges under management quota, depending on the state's cutoff and seat availability.

I completed intermediate with 675 marks. And my EAMCET rank is 101127 my caste is BCD am interested in ece in hyd with is best to consiling

Nikita shahi 26th Jul, 2025

Hi,

With a rank of 101127 in TS EAMCET and being from the BCD category, your chances at top tier colleges like JNTU or OU Hyderabad might be difficult, but you can still get decent colleges in Phase 2 counselling. Some private colleges to consider for ECE in Hyderabad include CMR College of Engineering & Technology, Malla Reddy Institute, and Anurag University. You can also look other branches or colleges to maximize your chances in later rounds.

Wishing you success in your counselling journey!

Prepare a ready-to-fill list of colleges based on your 456 NEET marks?......

Ayush Madanpotra 5th Aug, 2025

To make a ready-to-fill list of colleges based on your 456 NEET marks, I need some information from you.

Please tell me:

what is your category like General, OBC, SC, ST or EWS
which state you belong to like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra or any other
do you want to apply under All India Quota or State Quota or both
are you okay with private colleges or you want only government colleges
do you belong to any special category like PwD, Defence, NCC, etc.

Once you give this information, I will prepare a list for you where you can see:

college name
type of college like government or private
under which quota you can apply
last year’s cutoff rank
and a column to mark yes or no if you want to fill it

Please reply with your details so I can make this list for you.

sir/mam, I got 388 marks in neet exam will I get any government medical colleges in all india quota. Im basically obc category

Ayush Madanpotra 26th Jul, 2025

You got 388 marks in the NEET exam and you belong to the OBC category.

Yes, you have qualified for NEET because the minimum qualifying marks for OBC category is around 113 to 143. So, you are eligible to take part in NEET counselling.

But for getting a seat in a government medical college through All India Quota, the cutoff is usually much higher. For OBC category, students usually need at least 590 marks or more to get a government medical seat under All India Quota.

So with 388 marks, it is very difficult to get a seat in any government medical college through the All India Quota. Even in state quota, most government colleges need around 530 to 570 marks or more for OBC category.

You can still take part in counselling, but the chances are very low for government medical colleges. You may get a seat in a private or deemed university if you are open to that option.

Keep checking for counselling updates and take part when registration starts.

Mera marks DDU me 200me se 64 h to ho sakta hai kya

Afreen 27th Jul, 2025

64 marks out of 200 are not enough for admission in DDU (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University). Usually, for admission in DDU, students have to score more than 100 marks out of 200, and for some courses, this number can be 150 or more. 64 marks are too low and the chances of admission are very low.

So, if you want to take admission in DDU, you have to try again next year and score more marks. You can check the admission procedure and cutoff marks on the university website.

I got 500 marks in neet ews category jharkhand can I get a government mbbs seat

Ayush Madanpotra 26th Jul, 2025

You got 500 marks in NEET exam under EWS category and you are from Jharkhand. With this score, your chances of getting a government MBBS seat in Jharkhand through state quota are very low.

In the past years, the cutoff for EWS category in government colleges of Jharkhand has been around 610 to 630 marks. RIMS Ranchi and other government colleges usually have high cutoffs. For example, RIMS Ranchi had a cutoff of about 636 marks for EWS category in 2024.

Your score of 500 is much lower than the expected cutoff, so it is unlikely that you will get admission in a government MBBS college in Jharkhand through state quota.

But you are still eligible to register for state counselling. You can try for private or deemed universities in Jharkhand or in nearby states where the cutoffs are lower. You should also register for All India Quota counselling through MCC, in case you want to explore other options across India.

So, while government seat chances are very low, you may still have options in private colleges.

I got 305 marks in neet 2025 can i got govt college

Ayush Madanpotra 26th Jul, 2025

You got 305 marks in NEET 2025. You have passed the exam, because the qualifying marks are around 144. So you are eligible for counselling.

But to get a seat in a government MBBS college, your marks should be much higher. For general and EWS category, you need around 570 to 600 marks. For OBC category, you need around 530 to 580 marks. SC and ST students may get seats with 480 to 500 marks.

So with 305 marks, your chance of getting a government medical college is very low. It is almost not possible in All India Quota or state quota.

But you can still try for private or deemed universities. These colleges may accept students with 300 to 350 marks, especially in management or NRI quota. You can check with your state counselling authority or MCC website.
