Marks
Hello
With 187 marks in NEET UG 2025 and OBC-PwD category, your chances of getting a government MBBS seat are very low in All India Quota (AIQ) and most state quotas due to high competition.
Government MBBS colleges generally require :
OBC-PwD cutoff (AIQ) in 2024 was 270 marks
Even in some low cutoff states , 187 is below the minimum cutoff.
Reserved seats under PwD quota in private medical colleges (some may have lower cutoffs).
States with lower cutoffs ( Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh – for private colleges under quota).
BDS/BAMS/BHMS in government colleges may be possible under OBC-PwD.
Also consider counselling for BAMS, BDS or private MBBS with quota and fee concession .
Wait for official cutoff lists (AIQ + State quota).
With 185 marks in NEET 2025 you're eligible for counselling but have very low chance for government dental colleges. You may get a seat in private dental colleges, especially in management or stray rounds. Explore private options based on your category and state.
Hi Arul,
Thanks for reaching out!
Government colleges: With 540 marks in NEET under general category,7,300 rank in Kerala, your score is considered decent.but it's unlikely that you'll get a govt.MBBS seat, as general category cut-offs are usually higher(above 600).
Private colleges:
Seats under merit- quota is also quite competitive in Kerala, often requiring around 560-580+so,you might be close but not guaranteed.
You can consider Jubliee Mission,Sree Gokulam Colleges, though fees are higher.
In Kerala even private colleges tend to have competitive merit ranks due to fewer seats and high demand
Attend councelling, explore more private options, consider BDS,BAMS or paramedical courses.
A NEET score of 396 is a decent score, but getting a government MBBS seat under AIQ is very tough, even for general category students. As you belong to the OCI category, the chances are more limited because government MBBS seats are usually not open to OCI candidates anymore, OCI students usually have to apply under the NRI/Management quota in private colleges, where fees are higher. But don’t worry about your score you might have a chance in private medical colleges through NRI/Management quota. Some semi-government or deemed universities may consider you under their institutional quota, based on their rules.

No, you have to appear in the CUET exam, or you can't get admission to the B.Sc. in Microbiology. Because along with your 12th marks, the merit list is created, so you must take the Common University Entrance Test; otherwise, you are not eligible for this program.
I wish it will help you!!
Hi Student,
Thank you for reaching out!
To pass intermediate exams with percentage marks, there are some basic study techniques you have to follow.
The minimum passing percentage is 33%. Aim to score the maximum and higher than the passing percentage.
Focus on practical and theoretical exams. Daily revision is important. After completing the syllabus, give chapter-wise and subject-wise full mock test to analyze your performance.

Hello Aspirant,
Yes, having an NCC 'A' Certificate can be a very good thing during NEET counseling, but it will not directly add any grace marks to your NEET score. In Telangana, the NCC certificate is considered under the special category reservations during counseling, and it is only applicable for state quota seats in government colleges.
If you happen to apply in the NCC category, make sure to select it while filling out the application form and upload the certificate. Specific seats are reserved for NCC candidates by state norms and this certificate can put you in priority for allotment procedure, but once again no additional marks will crystalize in your NEET score.
Yes, with 757/1000 in CUET 2025 , you have a very good chance of getting B.Com (Hons) at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Delhi University , specially if you are in the General or Reserved category.
Last year’s cutoff was around 719 and your score is above .
Good morning
No, because qualification in NEET itself is the eligibility criteria to enter counselling. Since 102 marks is below the persistently lowest qualifying range of around 113 for reserved categories, you are not eligible to participate in CW or any other quota during NEET UG counselling.
I suggest you reattempt NEET in the next session.
Or
Consider alternative career options in allied health fields, paramedical courses, or other undergraduate programmes that do not rely solely on NEET scores.
You can explore institutional or management quota seats in private colleges if financially feasible, though those are still highly competitive and may require better NEET marks.
To get ECE at MIT (Anna University) as an MBC candidate, you need a TNEA cutoff of at least 193–196 out of 200.
How to reach that cutoff :
Maths : 195–200
Physics : 95–100
Chemistry : 95–100
ECE is a top branch and highly competitive.
Even for MBC category , only students with very high board marks get in.
Stay consistent and aim for 98–100% in these subjects.
hope this helps you .
