Materials Science and Technology
no there is no such things posssible.every college has certain cgpa above which you can easily change your branch.so even if it is possible then if you get caught then it will be a danger to your career.
Hi! hope you are doing great. Well it is difficult to predict as which one is best as it is completely depended on which course you are intrested in but as i researched i think CSE would be a better option as it has lot of scope in future and also the job packages are more than as compared to the electronic engineering. Electronics Engineer analyse requirements of cost of electronic systems. electronic engineer design and develop electronic equipment whereas CSE engineers develop software application testing debbuing the code.
hope this will help you! all the best
There is no minimum aggregate that you need to secure for being eligible for CDAC C CAT. With 67% in your BE, you are eligible for CDAC C CAT.You should have completed your Engineering in either IT/Electronics/Computer Science/Telecommunications/Electrical/Instrumentation. Your 10th and 12th marks do not matter here. Please visit our page at: https://it.careers360.com/articles/cdac-c-cat for more information.
The physics & Chemistry of metals and their processing will be dealt by Chemical Metallurgy. The electrolytic processes like extraction, refining, coating, plating and deposition is dealt by Elctro-metallurgy. Thus metallurgy is a full -fledged branch of Engineering and is not a branch of Chemistry. Hopefully this information is enough to take
Good luck!
Hey,
Metallurgical and material engineering is a sub branch of chemical engineering. But it has some courses of mechanical too like material science, deformation of materials, mechanical properties of materils, heat treatment etc. You won't get more courses from chemical engineering in metallurgy. Metallurgy has course similar to mechanical and even some of courses are there which are not thaught in mechanical engineering.
Hope it helps
Hey there
No there is no such thing about these two branches. If you are thinking that all metals which are when extracted needs chemical processing all chemical is used is metal extraction and all then I would say all branches are somehow connected like electrical engineer use induction motors whose whole structure is made by mechanical so all branches are interconnected do not get confused. Metallurgy is a demanding stream in India as number of colleges having metallurgy as a branch is less in India.
Good luck
Hello Anamika, Greetings!
In government sector, ECE branch has a separate paper in IES exam. Vacancies are spread throughout India. Apart from this, PSU are taking students via GATE exam for ECE branch. Some of them are - ISRO, DRDO, HAL, BARC, BEL, BHEL etc.
Private sector companies that recruit ECE students are Analog devices, NXP semiconductors, ATMEL, microchip, Infineon technologies, einfochips, Sertel electronics, Maxim etc.
Thank you, best of luck.
