Materials Science and Technology
hi nuhman ,
Electronic engineering (also called electronics and communications engineering) is an electricalengineering discipline which utilizes nonlinear and active electrical components (such as semiconductor devices, especially transistors, diodes and integrated circuits) to design electronic circuits, devices, VLSI devices.
Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the streams where you learn almost about all the concepts of science. You learn about electronics , few of the electrical and computer science (data structures ,foc and more) based concepts. The best part is the communication. I don't think anyother stream gives you this diversed yet trivial knowledge of all the fields. Thats the reason I choose ECE.
Having said that, many people do not choose this stream because of the above mentioned ideas. People who assume their weakness is in learning the programming languages or prefer a no coding stream, would generally be taking this stream, not to forget them, ending up in a software firm and becoming a developer :D Also, people who aren't so sure about which field to pursue their career would choose this, since their have an option of choosing either the software or the hardware side

dear student
For being eligible for this course, candidate must have a recognized undergraduate degree(10+2+3) in Science with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate Physics and Mathematics.
The preferred mode to take admission in M.Sc. Electronic Science is entrance exam.
Most of the institutions have entrance exams as admission mode. Hence, the students who have appeared in final year examination of under-graduation and await the result are allowed to apply for the course by such institutions.
Every institute follows a selection process of its own. All of them accept scores of entrance tests like GATE and TANCENT
hope it helps
All the best!!!
