If you are seking admission in any of the engineering courses offered by the affiliated colleges of Anna University, Tamil Nadu then you have to appear for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission process because admission to engineering courses is offered either through "JEE-Main/JEE-Advance in NITs/IIITs/IITs and in some other colleges too" or through "TNEA on the basis of 10+2 merit in affiliated colleges of Anna University".

TNEA is now conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu, and for this year the process has not yet started because till now class 12th exams have not been conducted so we can expect it to get started by next month or in May 2022, so you should keep regular check on official website for any latest updates :-
